Visited Tacoma for the weekend and found Valkyrie coffee. Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. The staff was very kind and the girl at the register gave me a lot of great food recommendations through Tacoma and Seattle. Can’t wait to visit Washington again just for this coffee!!

Coffee was just shy of great! The roast was a little dark for me, but it was better than the average coffee shop. They only have coffee, no pastries or other things to eat. Was also a little disappointed they don’t offer housemade syrups.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Tacoma. First and foremost because of the coffee. They make a mean cup in the store and it’s where I get my beans. But I love the shop itself because the atmosphere is alive, and it’s different every time you go because of who’s working there and who happens to walk in the store. Sometimes it’s quiet and not much is going on, other times the conversations are lively and the atmosphere is bright and cheery. 10/10
Best coffee in town. Sometimes you wait, but perfection it’s always worth it. Unless Harold forgets your honey. 😂

I’ve picked up coffee beans here multiple times. Everyone that works here is friendly and makes sure to say hello and good bye. I normally just buy the espresso beans for something that is high octane.
Also had an espresso macchiato since I was there. Highly recommend. No bike locks in front of the business, but plenty of street parking.
