The girl that worked at night was very rude . Called in an order , sounded as if i were interupting her. I came to pick up my order and not one bit friendly . As I waited I observed the way she spoke to others also. As she's on the phone taking order she's rolling her eyes and her tone of voice and answers to questions were very rude . Not a thank you, nothing just hung up phone. May want to have a talk with this person. Your losing buisness with her working this way behind your counter.

The food was really good, minus a star for the sesame chicken being very vinegar based. I'm not used to that in teriyaki and with my palate, rendered it inedible.
The teriyaki chicken, gyoza and fried rice were delicious.
I really want to try the sweet and sour next time I'm here, due to the dipping sauce with my boyfriend's plate.

Atmosphere is clean, old time music but the chopping in back can be a distraction from quiet date conversation.

Service, could use some work.
But overall, will be returning. (:

Food used to be so good but has faltered the last few times I’ve been in. Today I went in to pick up my call in order and was seriously overcharged because the person taking the order did not understand what I actually ordered. Why have a Wok special if you don’t honor it? The cashier refused to make any adjustments and I left very unhappy. I’ve been coming here for years and have even referred people to this business but as there are many other options around I will find a new teriyaki haunt. Terrible service and zero loyalty to a long time customer.

Came in because I saw there were vegetarian options and wanted to support a business near the campus. It's finals, so I was pretty exhausted and just asked the cashier what was recommended between two of the "wok" tofu options. She let me know that I could do a combo so I ordered that. Shortly after one of the cooks came out and started yelling at her rudely, all I could make out was kung pao tofu (again...tired). So that went on for a while, as the cashier went in the kitchen to talk, I just keep hearing her being yelled at, while she was clearly trying to find a solution to whatever was the problem.

When the cashier came out she was very polite and extremely apologetic, but said that apparently the tofu options are not allowed to be made into a combo, and the cook refused to make it even though the order was paid for. The only option I was given was to have them make only one of the items, but give me slightly more food. Since I had no other options I said ok....only realizing after that this meant I ended up paying more money than if I had just been charged correctly (I guess this is why they said I was getting slightly more food? I have no way to know if I am actually getting more food). The cashier politely brought out a premade iceberg salad with ranch which isn't really my thing while I waited, guessing that was the only thing she had the authority to make.

I really wanted to like this place, it can be so hard to find vegetarian options, and being so close to TCC would have made it a regular lunch spot for me, but such bad service just really left a nasty taste in my mouth. I wouldn't have even minded just cancelling my original order and charging me appropriately for what's available, but overcharging me for something I didn't even order and the rude yelling, it's probably going to be a pass for me.

The food was good, had to take off a star for it not being the right thing, but the taste and texture was good for vegetarian. The place was clean which was nice, but atmosphere has to include the hostility (including towards towards the poor cashier who just made a small error and tried to fix it)

Great service, very nice people. Teriyaki sauce a bit soupy, otherwise happy with our food.

Honestly, it is one of the most delicious and consistent Chinese/Japanese restaurants around. They always have my food hot and ready in 15-20 min. After looking through the low-end reviews, I'm appalled by the rudeness and lack of intelligence of some customers, and IT SHOWS. I wouldn't put much stock in anything the low-end reviewers have written (if you don't have a stroke first while trying to read their horrible attempts at coherent thoughts).

Easily the BEST teriyaki in Tacoma! We’ve been going here regularly the past 5 years. So consistent, friendly service, and everywhere else we go for teriyaki we always compare to Wok V.

The store was clean and well-appointed. The service was excellent. We received fresh delicious food delivered to our table. It was a little pricy for teryaki, but worth it.

Cute little shop that offers Teriyaki, Chinese and Japanese options. It is perfect for our family since I prefer chow mein but my daughter prefers yakisoba…here we can get both. Great tasting teriyaki, beef and fresh veggies. I order takeout from here at least 1 time a week.
