I ordered an Italian soda and pelmeni. It was my first time trying those things and I was more impressed with the pelmeni! I didn't wait for too long for my food because two people were working, so I totally understand the wait. Would definitely come back for more pelmeni!
Even though I didn't have the best experience, I'll still give it another chance. They'd been slammed and were understaffed when we ordered so our espressos took forever and weren't so good. And even though the lemon tart was beautiful it was just okay. HOWEVER, I had a few of my friend's pierogi's and I will definitely be going back for more. Great pierogis save the day.

I had an amazing experience at Zaya Café on Ruston Way. The cherry pirogy was perfectly sweet and delicious, while the macarons were light and full of flavor. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made the visit even better. If you're in Tacoma, definitely check this place out for a unique and tasty treat!
