The only reason i recommended black bear to anyone is for the coffee. But the owner zeke is an absolute creep and gets way to touchy and hands on with some of his baristas. I worked there back in 2016 or so and had the worst experience with him as he asked if I wanted help changing my shirt and bra and then touched my boob telling me "sorry you had a hair" told me he only hires girls with big boobs and that's why I got hired. Told me my moms boobs were big when she came through the stand as well. Never said anything cuz nobody else wanted to come forward and say anything so I left it but come to find out just a month or so ago he did it to a friend of mine that worked there. I hope nobody else experiences this with him and he truly does stop cuz its disgusting and so unprofessional.

Picked up some coffees and a snack while the wife and I were driving back home from a friend's wedding.
I highly recommend this place if you ever drive by, they have great espresso, alternative milk options, great prices, and the staff were super kind and patient as we looked over the menu.
I ended up getting a 24oz white chocolate mocha that was divine, and a poppyseed muffin top that really hit the spot.
The most surprising thing is the prices! We got 2 coffees and a muffin top, It cost us less than 15 bucks after tip! I would spend that much on just a small coffee and a muffin in the Seattle/Tacoma area.
Dietary restrictions: Quite a few options for alternative milk and creamer, oat, almond, etc

Tonight I managed to lock both my keys and phone in the car when picking up food at a teriyaki restaurant. The owner of Black Bear Espresso happened to be there as well. He overheard me asking the restaurant owner if I could use her phone to call AAA, and immediately opened up the AAA app, found my husband’s account and requested a locksmith. We spent the next 20 minutes pleasantly chatting about our lives and jobs, and when the locksmith arrived, Zeke made sure I got in my car and on the road, even my dress which he kindly informed me I had managed to close in my car door. Get your coffee here! The owner is awesome. And the coffee is great too ?
