I droves through Tokeland when heading out to the coast with my family. I stopped in here to take my daughter to the bathroom, expecting a typical small town grocery. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the shop — inviting setting, good food and espresso, and friendly staff. Highly recommended if passing through.
Great little hideaway! The prices are really reasonable. Great flavor, cocktail sauce is always good. The crab is amazing, when you buy the tubs there are very few little shells, they do a great job! The gal that works there has been there forever and is super friendly. Samples to try and a great little gift shop to buy your friends gifts or to pick up a sweatshirt to remember the trip!
Nelson has the best smoked salmon in the world. One of their recipes uses maple syrup to give it a glaze and seal in the juice. Wow! Was just there for the first time. I shall return.
