This is one of our favorite places. The staff is friendly and delightful. The food is amazing. And yet you are in a place that feels far away from the hustle and bustle and of a different time.

I didn't stay here, just a visit. It's an interesting walk through. The back yard is spacious and beautiful. They have a public restaurant in it too.

It is tempting to assume that the staff at the Tokeland hotel had figured out a way to pump cortisol reducing gases through the vintage hotel. But, it is simply sea air, a fresh and local menu seasoned with hot sauce and homemade jam, and the kind of warm but relaxed hospitality that makes you feel like you’re returning home. If you’ve ever been tempted to take a respite in the sea air like a Victorian lady suffering from a vague melancholic affliction: book it and go.

The food is so amazing. We love the wedge salad and fried oysters. My daughter got chicken sandwich on a biscuit. Looked delicious. The place has great decor and lots of history. You won't have room but grab a pastry for later on the way out!

We visited for dinner whilst staying at an Airbnb.
The hotel is a gorgeous piece of history with amazing modern art everywhere.
This place is a gorgeous representation of Washington with a beautiful vibe and amazing staff. The food was so good to top it off!

I am mostly disappointed because I left a ring there and they told me that they found it. Then they said they would ship it to me and I paid $20 flat rate over the phone to have it shipped and then after that it seems they must’ve just lost it. I checked in a lot and got no answers and I haven’t gotten it and that was back in February. Very disappointed. If you lose something there, do not expect it back. Also, do not pay the shipping rate.

We Booked three nights and this is our last night there but I can’t wait until it’s over to post!
This place is amazing from the owner, all of the staff, and actually everyone staying here has been such a pleasure. Actually, the reason we are staying here is because our kids got us this as a gift for Christmas. This is not somewhere that we would have normally stayed.
However, we absolutely love it. It is very eclectic and cozy
A warm fire going in the “living room”
Places to sit and relax throughout places to play games do puzzles, the grounds outside are wonderful for just walking very close to the beach
We only live about an hour and a half from this place and feel like we have missed out all these years not coming here.
I was a little worried about it Being the oldest hotel in Washington state, and shared bathrooms, and probably very thin walls that we might not sleep well, and we prepare prepared for that
To our amazement, we have been sleeping Very well and have enjoyed our entire experience
I would highly recommend reserving a slot for the hot tub, it is woodfired heated, and quite the experience. It was a beautiful night last night, and we were able to enjoy the soak in the peaceful setting.
Many of the people that we spoke to come yearly and they were from all over the state
We can see why people want to return to stay here.
I read that the owner is from the South and wants to have southern hospitality. Be what the hotel is known for.
Tennessee is one of our favorite places and we love the South.
If I didn’t know better, I would think that the Tokeland hotel was just that, a hotel in the south that people return to a year after year and enjoy family vacations, quality time, and a beautiful relaxing stay!
All of the food we had at the wandering goose blew our expectations out of the water.
We will be back.
Sadly, tonight is our last night for this stay…

Came for New Years Eve dinner. I had a reservation for 7pm but did not get seated until 7:30 because the turn over was so slow. No one wanted to leave! I didn't blame them - why would they want to leave such a beautiful place? The Tokeland Hotel and Wandering Goose Restaurant is such a gem. The host Austin and my server Courtney were great. Austin was inundated with guests and questions and handled the chaos like a champ. Courtney was attentive and kind to all her tables. I came to the hotel two years ago with my previous dog who passed that same year in July. I have always wanted to go back and thought tonight was the night. I was very happy with my experience. If you have the opportunity to go to the Tokeland Hotel do it!
