Duke's food and service are always top notch! When I want to eat well and excellent food and get the best service, I always think of Dukes first! I ordered the salmon stuffed with Dungeness crab ... the most expensive item on the menu. It was surpringly dry and when I mentioned it to the waiter, he demanded to replace it immediately. Dukes is always a great experience. They have variety on the menu and quality ingredients. They are my go to. Their fresh sheet always has seasonal delicious options. They are consistent and local. It's a great way to have a delicious meal with friendly service without having to be fancy.
Food service was definitely rushed. Our entrees arrived before we'd gotten even halfway through our chowder. Btw the chowder was flavorful but far from the best I've ever had. I expected actual, toothsome chunks of potato and clams. What arrived was a bowl of small and barely indistinguishable pieces of each ingredient.
