It was my first time visiting this shop, and I ordered the chicken panini and a salad which is “choose two”.
It was absolutely delicious and surprisingly flavorful! The chicken panini quality was excellent — tender and juicy, not the overly salty, dry kind of factory-processed meat you often get elsewhere. The flavors were well balanced, and the bread was toasted perfectly, which made the whole sandwich even better.

One of my all time favorite restaurants in Seattle! Strangely, this place reminds me of my favorite restaurant in the Miami airport, which I always visit on my way to Cuba . The Corner Cafe is just very unique and old school. Great food, casual and human atmosphere. Whenever I'm near South center, I visit two places: Guitar center and the Corner Cafe!

The food was not great. I asked for no bleu cheese, it is one of my most hated foods, and it was still all over the top of my salad. I didn’t notice until I was back home so I couldn’t just ask them to remake it. That basically ruined the salad since I wasn’t able to remove it all and ate some accidentally. I also ordered the chicken Rosa pasta and it was super bland. The salad and sandwich my dad had was fine.
