Went here when I had the opportunity to go again. 2nd visit was fantastic. My bestie and I did family style where we ordered several small plates and 1 soup. It was very filling and delicious. Their continued soup was excellent. Also the reservation process was a little confusing at 1st since it was very different than when we 1st went there.
Tried many but DTF is still the standard for xialongbao/soup dumplings. Great flavor, sturdy wrappers that don't burst as soon as you pick them up. The string beans with garlic are really good and remind me of when I worked with a Taiwanese family, greens sauteed with garlic was a staple. Final highlight, first time I had the chocolate buns and sea salt cream: pillowy decadence! A must add to finish your meal.
