Atmosphere wasn't really my vibe, but the people were cool and the food was bomb! Best fried pickle chips in the city and the pineapple fritters and chicken fried steak are worth the trip alone!
This is a hidden gem. Stopped in early on a Thursday night. Wasn't busy at all. We stopped in to grab a quick bite on our way to a concert. This is a dark, dive bar through and through. The person who took our order from behind the bar didn't really acknowledge she got out order at first, so not the super friendliest service. We ordered some burgers and fries! They were good tavern burgers, and the fries... we literally saw the cook pull the bag of potatoes out. So yes,...
From iowa truck driver. Bobtail over to lucky liquor great people owner great person food was really good to. Lucky I was delivery across the street so I could drop my trl. Loved this place.
