Moctezuma's Mexican Restaurant

Extremely disappointing experience. We visited this restaurant with our family, only to be told we had to leave because my daughter is under 21—even though we were not seated near the bar and were simply there to enjoy a meal. There was no clear signage or warning about age restrictions for non-bar seating, and the staff made no effort to accommodate or explain the situation in a respectful way.

This kind of treatment is unacceptable for an establishment that markets itself as family-friendly. We had looked forward to trying the food, but instead left feeling embarrassed and unwelcome. We won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone with younger family members.

Great place for family, friends, kids people of all ages. Always have good food there They also have a great bar.

Worth the money

Love this place. Definitely recommend impossible city tacos!

I ordered take out and they didn't put half the food in the bag when I got home and called the restaurant they tried to make it look like I was lying about what I didn't have in my bag. I have money if I wanted to buy whatever I wanted. I'm not gonna just let them tell me.I had the food when I know they didn't put it in the bag. The manager was the main one. I did not get a i can replace it or anything so I will make sure I let all my family and friends love if I was treated like that. They can treat them the same way, and we all said we will not be returning back to that establishment.

Mostly all of our food was delicious. We got some delicious cheese thing, I forgot the name, shrimp and steak skillet, chile relleno, chimichanga, and a chipotle enchiladas. The only negative thing was that the enchiladas weren’t as spicy as expected. Our server Shelby was friendly, attentive and showed great customer service! The atmosphere brought me back to Cancun and the great watermelon margarita sealed the recommendation!

Wonderful experience with my wife. We will definitely be coming again someday. This is probably the best Mexican restaurant we’ve ever been to. The food, the service, and environment were spot on.

We sat in the bar. We have done so before and no issue. Well, this time we were at the "high" table. Our chairs were nit though. The table top was at my chest. The chairs didn't adjust. It was awkward feeling. That is why a 3 on the atmosphere.

Ate here for the very first time earlier this evening. Had Fajitas Duo (steak & shrimp) with a friend. Was promptly seated (immediately) then served by Daniel.

Chips were so so but salsa was great. Had flour tortillas rather than corn (very good). Steak good, shrimp good, sauteed vegetables great. Rice good, black beans good.

12 ounce blended margarita very good. Friend's non alcoholic margarita good but should have been larger with less ice (considering price).

Will be back. Many other menu entries looked good.

I dined here last night and rpp0eally enjoyed myself. I think it's difficult to find a Mexican Restaurant that rises above most others, this place seems to do that. I was initially served the wrong plate (I ordered their Camarones Al Tequila, but was served their Camarones Cancun, and they look VERY similar), my server quickly corrected this minor error. As for the meal itself, let's just say I chose well The Bacon Wrapped Jalapeños were excellent, but a large portion (5) for one dining alone. But they'll make excellent leftovers, wouldn't you agree? If you're near SeaTac and Southcenter Mall, give this place a shot. You won't be disappointed.

Ok food- good atmosphere - hit or miss good service. Have been here three times or so, it's definitely not my first choice but friends over rule sometimes. Food comes out fast when ordered, but honestly everything just tasted okay. Nothing really stood out except the salsa for the chips. Friends tried some different drinks and really weren't impressed. Reminds me of a step up from Aztecca. Parking does and will suck depending on when you go as it is at Southcenter Mall
