The sashimi was great. Good presentation, excellent taste, sesame seeds were a nice touch. However, the meats lacked flavor. The wagyu didn't taste like wagyu, it was more like tender cut of flank. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. I'd say it's pretty mid, and people unfortunately take that to mean it's bad, but let's be real, mediocrity is fine.
Excellent meal - the A5 Miyazaki wagyu skewer was a standout, especially with the thoughtful accompaniments and pickles that balanced the richness. The soba and udon were both satisfying and well executed. We appreciated the attention to ingredients and presentation. Beautifully decorated restaurant, great ambiance. Would happily return.
We were in Seattle for just one day and we ate here twice. Everything our server recommended was fabulous. We had the curry with karaage, salmon sashimi,unagi donburiand salmon tacos. The freshest seafood ever!
