I really appreciate how old school this place feels. It hasn't been over run by AI and a disconnect with customers. The staff are friendly. My only complaint is the portion size. I got a 4 piece chicken strip for $9 and the strips were more like nuggets on size, but they taste good. Kids meals were the same, tiny strips.
My local Dairy Queen I always go too. Everything is great about not just Dairy Queen but this specific location. I love the food, the service and the whole experience. If you are in town I definitely recommend.
It’s honestly mind boggling that this DQ hasn’t been on Diners Drive-in’s and Dives. I’d go as far as to say this DQ is tied with the Ellensburg one on my official DQ rankings. The pictures of ice cream on the interior walls are abstract and lovely. But it doesn’t stop there. They have a whole freezer designated to dilly bars AND great staff! There is even a whole DQ history wall inside. 5. Stars.
