Amazing dinner. They accommodated our party of 8 and the food and service were both excellent.

Owner/Chef John has been creating fantastic meals in the valley for a long long time! His “pillow bread app” is a must have. The wood fired oven is used not only for this dish and the pizzas but to finish most of the other dishes off. What a hidden gem. Sometimes hard to get a reservation so plan ahead. The will do private events and also offer wine tasting and community events. I hope they stay around forever!

Eating at Tapp’s felt like being invited into someone’s home for dinner — sitting at the bar watching John cook was an incredible experience; it’s clear he loves what he does. The food was beyond amazing, the service was personal and friendly, and by the end of the night, it felt like we’d made new friends. Hands down, the best restaurant experience we’ve ever had.

Service terrible, pretentious… no way to make a reservation online, they would not let us even sit at the bar to have a drink. There was absolutely no people in there and we arrived right when they opened but they wouldn’t seat us. If you require reservations, please have an area online to make reservation reservations.

We brought our son (who is a chef) here for dinner and had a fabulous meal. We shared the house salad, delish, then we shared the tomato and chevre pillow bread. It was fantastic. Our son had the Gamboretti, a shrimp and seafood pasta dish, the shrimp were very fresh and tasty, I had the Venetian beef, in a delicious beef and wine sauce with polenta, so good and the leftovers were divine. My hubby had the Canale pasta with sausage, also
Delicious. I could not recommend this place more, our second time here and we will definitely be back. Thank you to John and your welcoming staff!

We walked in after the kitchen had closed but the owner was so incredibly kind and let us order food. The bread was amazing and the polenta and pasta was great too. Would definitely come back.

Call before you go here. We just drove 30 minutes to walk in the door on Saturday evening to a sign that says reservations only. Yet the place was empty.
No where online does it say reservations only.... nor is there a reservation link on google. How is anyone supposed to know this?

We came 30 minutes after kitchen was closed but the owner was very accommodating after we told them we were vegetarian and made special meals per our preferences. Food was amazing and deserves five stars

I came in as a single diner without a reservation. The hostess originally told me they we're full, but she said she would ask the owner John if they could squeeze me in. They were able to serve me and I am so glad they did. The atmosphere in this place is so welcoming. The service was outstanding from start to finish, and the food was incredible. I had a house salad and the Italian sausage cuscino. The cuscino was outstanding with a rich homemade sauce that you would have to taste to understand. In addition to a wonderful dining experience, John offered me some local fly fishing tips. If you have a chance to check this place out, you definitely should. I'm sorry I can only give them 5 stars. This place is a gem.

True Italian flavor and texture which is hard to find in Seattle, and this beats any place we’ve found there. My partner is from NY and is impossible to impress with Italian food commented how our meal tasted like home.
Will go out of our way to come back!

I'm sure the food and service are excellent. I never got to try because this restaurant is now RESERVATION ONLY despite no mention of this anywhere I searched on the internet.

We are staying in Winthrop Mon-Thurs and drove over Thursday night during down season. Didn't think I needed to call ahead to reserve a table because everything has been so dead. The restaurant was closed the three days leading up, and there is no way to make online reservations. All around very disappointing.
