This is our family’s favorite winery in all of Oregon and Washington. Woman owned, progressive, queer and trans supportive, earthy. We visit in all seasons and are always comfortable. Amazing view. Great blankets if you’re sitting outside or cozy up around there for pit. Inside is cozy and artful. The wind is amazing and their tapas are paired well and also very good! The winemakers are often serving and full of great stories about the process.

I just realized this review from July 2025 had not completed posting when I originally wrote it! Thanks to the lovely team at AniChe for warmly welcoming me for a walk-in wine tasting on a busy summer day. The indoor tasting room was my AC chilled escape from the heat, and I enjoyed the eclectic artsy mystical reading room vibe. Check out the snazzy bathroom too! The Gruner Veltliners were my highlight and I took home a few bottles, along with the “Moth Love” GSM. This is a popular place with locals. I noticed several Pfriem brewery staff coming for an after-work wine, and just a lot of folks being greeted like old friends. That is a great sign of a well-loved winery.

What a cozy place! This family-owned gem was our third stop on a vineyard tour on our way back to Portland after hiking at Mt Hood. Upon entering the cabin-y space we found some comfy armchairs and were treated to a lovely flight and charcuterie type snacks. Both of the women who served us took pride in what is clearly their family’s passion and expertise. Great wine and beautiful scenery. Definitely worth a stop!

I had the daunting task of selecting a winery for our group of friends (and dog!) to visit this weekend. I made a few calls, and got Kelly at AniChe on the phone. I immediately felt the warmth and welcome! Kelly was friendly and informative, answered all my questions, and really made me want to pay them a visit. And I am so glad we did!

The first thing you notice about AniChe is the cozy location and amazing view of the gorge. Upon walking into the cute and quirky space --a remodeled old barn, I believe—Che greeted us and made us feel so welcome. With so many great wineries to choose from on both sides of the Columbia, I was immediately relieved and so happy we had come. Both Che and Christie were very knowledgeable about the wines and wine making, and made us feel at home and taken care of, even as the tables filled up with guests. And the wines! We enjoyed every one in our flight. A standout for me was the Barbariccia 2022; another red we all agreed was our absolute favorite was the Moth Love 2021. A few bottles of that went home with us, along with the sparkling red Peaseblossom 2024 and the white Baba Yaga 2024. Overall a terrific wine tasting experience. We will definitely be back!

Family-owned and managed winery. Every wine we tasted was phenomenal. They also provided us with a little plate of feta and watermelon slices as a palette cleanser. Ani was actually our tasting guide and provided an unforgettable experience!

Very cute winery with a great view of Columbia River. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

The wine itself was a bit light bodied to our taste but we really enjoyed the view and the atmosphere here. Very relaxing and chilled.

As others have said, cozy, so much to see, very friendly and personable owners, and the wine tasting was great - all were delicious! They served a little plate of cheese and sausage with the tasting. We ordered the dolmas which were the best I've had.

This winery is wonderful! Queer friendly and amazing wine. The staff is friendly and helpful. The indoor decor is a bit cringe though with limited indoor seating. There is a nice outdoor seating area for the colder months. The outdoor seating could use a bit of renovating to make the experience even better. Overall, I will 100% be returning and ordering more wine from them online!

Absolutely the best wine tasting experience!! I went in the fall of 2022 and it was spectacular!! The view was amazing , you can see across to Hood River. I still think about this wine and day! 🍷🫶🏻

$20 for a glass of red wine is not awesome & borders on robbery. Not worth it, in my opinion. There are much better options on the Oregon side.
