Applebee's Grill + Bar offers a range of experiences for its customers. The food is generally considered good, although some reviews mention it being a bit bland. The rice has been criticized for being hard and dried up. Service is friendly and attentive, with staff like Jasmine and Mariah going the extra mile to assist customers. They are noted for their charisma and professionalism, making visits pleasant. The atmosphere can be noisy, especially during games, but many customers feel at home, as Gerry does by making the experience feel personalized. Meals from the special bourbon street menu, including steak and shrimp and chicken, have received praise for their tenderness and flavor. Customers recommend loading the mashed potatoes because... why not?! The restaurant is a popular spot for locals, with good deals, sports on TV, and a relaxed environment that makes everyone feel welcome. The bartenders, especially Ethan and Jerry, are praised for their friendly attitude and attentive service, making sure guests feel recognized and comfortable without being smothered. The restaurant is clean, with a large parking lot, and offers a fun, lively atmosphere during happy hour. While the food may not be the most sophisticated, it provides good value for families and those looking for a casual dining experience.
