The food is absolutely amazing. Hands down the best food, plating and blend of flavors I've had in the PNW. Not to mention the welcoming and friendly staff that work there. Gave us blankets to sit outside by the warm fires and enjoy the breath taking views of the mounting standing behind the water. Highly recommend the smoked cod bowl.

Truly a PNW seafood eatery. Fresh seafood, sweeping views of Hood canal/Olympic mountains.
We stop here anytime we're in the area.

Absolutely Devine!… the view, the decor, the vibe, the music, the blankest, the loaded mussel gumbo and the hands down best crab I have ever had in my life. This is the highest grade real soul food 💗
If you want to forget about the world and feed all of your senses and your spirit… this is the sanctuary you were looking for 🙏

We were eager to try this restaurant, since we live only about an hour away and it's a nice drive along the Hood Canal. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our meals, especially the salmon salad. Although the small piece of salmon was smoked and cooked well, it rested on a handful of lettuce and that was about it. The steamers were OK, but there are other places where the broth is much more flavorful. For the price paid, we expected to get a lot more food. Be aware that you need to go next door to the store if you want something like ice tea- they don't stock it. If it's a sunny day and you figure the price of your food includes a ring-side seat along the canal, then it's probably OK. One thing in their favor, they are very dog-friendly so you don't need to leave your friend in the car while you eat.

We were staying nearby and came for breakfast. The staff were friendly and the setting was beautiful. I would say the seafood was delicious but the breakfast food was underwhelming.

Vibes and views here are sublime. If you are wanting that quintessial northwest experience, where you felt like you had discovered a cool place while out on vacation, this is it. My seafood chowder with a side of baguette perfectedly hit the spot. There were a couple dogs out in the patio area, so I believe they are pet-friendly, but best to call and check. If they served espresso drinks, it would take them over the top!

The food here is fantastic! Probably the best chowder I’ve ever had. And you just can’t beat the scenery in which you are enjoying your meal.

I had the salmon burger, they had the shrimp tacos, and we split a Dungeness crab, 12 oysters (raw and market style), and a bowl of chowder. It was all super delicious. The knock on service is that it is sorta self serve. The atmosphere ding is that is rather rustic, but has great views. Place was hopping too. Check their schedule as they have restricted hours
