The food was really good I got the fish and chips they gave you nice three really tender pieces of fish. It wasn't the biggest portion but it was still worth every penny. It was really really goodParking: Parking is easy. There's always enough parking in that lot up topKid-friendliness: Yeah it's kid friendly there is a bar but kids can go in the restaurant

Had a Bloody Mary (pickled beans, three olives and cold slice of bacon), Rueben sandwich with fries and grilled hot wings. Overall the food was delicious with the hot wings as the standout. They were plump, juicy and perfectly grilled. One small complaint for the Bloody Mary is maybe consider a different protein like a smoked meat stick of some sort, a cold slice of bacon is just not that appetizing.

I've lived in University Place since August and basically across the street and today was my first visit. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the Street tacos and they were great. The pork sliders were amazing the the waitress was very good. Great place, awesome food and service, highly reccomend.Vegetarian options: Stay home. Nobody should have to cater to your personal choices.

Beautiful views of the bay, decent beer selection and great service. Fish and chips was delicious with an amazing tater. Salmon was a little dry and still had skin when in the salad.

Have been before and even recently and it’s hard to beat with the view and good food but yesterday/today was ridiculous.I called yesterday a few times and only got their voicemail so left a message for a call back to see about availability and never got a call. (Also you can’t make reservations online) Called today and only got the voicemail again so asked the pro shop for help, and they said first come first serve and the restaurant has been busy due to an event, so we (just two of us) arrived for dinner was told outside seating was a possibility and it’d be about 15 minute wait which was no problem. From there, the hostess let a woman know after that seating outside is just for golfers and reservations. we then found out golfers finishing their rounds were just seating themselves where ever they wanted outside and it wasn’t likely we’d have a seat outside, so we left. The communication was terrible, and you can tell the restaurant is being ran poorly. It was a Saturday evening and what could be the busiest time of the day, and it was a joke. The host didn’t seem to know what was going on or seem to care that much.

Great view of the course and the surrounding water scenery - lovely lunch spot! Outstanding clam chowder - I highly recommend it! A hidden jem.

Just left. Food was good. Julian our server was excellent, however the lady that seated us made us wait until all 3 of our party arrived before seating us When we asked why she cites that they have that rule b/c they get busy and don't want to take partial orders from tables. This excuse even though there were literally only 2 other people seated in the dining area. 2!!! When I politely challenged the rule and referred to it as "silly" considering there were relatively no other customers she walked away abruptly and rule said "...well I didn't make the rule". I asked to speak to a manager, more about how she treated us. She got what she said was the closest thing to a manager on duty who cited the same after hearing, yet another respectful disagreement with the rule and description of the previous employees behavior. Apparently she also did not like that a patron was challenging their rule and passive aggressively said "well that's our rule and we are keeping it" as she abruptly walked away. If rude is what you want then you have a 2 out of 3 chance of getting at his restaurant. I will not return and I will advise others not to go.

If only the service and food could live up to the beauty of the location. Ive been here many times and never felt the need to leave a bad review until today. We ordered chowder that came out luke warm with our meal, not before like it should have. The burger was not seasoned and the fries had a strange flavor, like dirty frying oil. The fish and chips were inedible and greasy. I saw other tables sending food back, The server, Jullian, couldn't have cared less. If the service were better I would give them a pass this time, but we will just spend our money somewhere else.

Nothing compares to the setting overlooking the beautiful Chambers Bay and the golf course... but if you don't enjoy grease drenched food then skip the Rueben, shoestring fries, Fish 'n Chips or Burgers. The Clam Chowder was the only satisfactory dish that we ordered.

I gave 5 stars for atmosphere because we had dinner outside and the views of the golf course and sound are spectacular. Food and service were perfect.

The best part from Chambers Bay Grill is the scenery. The food is mediocre and overpriced, and the service is lacking. I guess if you’re part of the country club/golfer you get priority service. The non-country club residents and non-golfers are treated poorly and or forgotten. I would recommend the bread and that’s it. Probably won’t come back here unless it’s for bread. Cheers.

Can't beat the views overlooking Chambers Bay and the Puget Sound. Very good food too with lots of salad options, lighter fare and entrees. Great for a meal or snack after walking the 3ish mile loop. Not speedy though :) which we didn't mind but keep in mind if you are on a schedule.

Great food and drinks. Sparse atmosphere. Ok service. I have a lot to say here.Visited today spontaneously with a friend. (About 2pm). The restaurant is not clearly marked and is humble. I drove past and had to double back. As we waited for the host, we looked inside. Tables all look the same. No decoration. Kind of like a cafeteria, the one person there was working on a laptop. We asked for outside seating. Fantastic view of the Sound, golf course and unique terrain greeted us. Again, though, it seemed sparse. We both ordered a Bloody Mary.Tasty and spicy, the perfect vegetable accoutrements too. We shared a Caesar Salad, Fish & Chips. Both were spot on. The fries were crispy. We really liked the tartar sauce. We both suspect that the food and drinks are the star here. We don't play golf. Maybe this is a holding place, not sure. This could be a fantastic restaurant with a little more focus. I am looking forward to coming back and explore more of the menu.
