Galos Flame Grilled Chicken

Just had a chicken wrap with med/lemon sauce and it was very tasty. The chicken was cooked perfectly! Spice was perfect for someone who can't handle a lot of spice but still wants a little kick. Which is what I like.
I live walking distance and have wanted to try the food. I'm looking forward to eating here again.

Never had a good experience food wise here. The only saving grace is their tater tots walked by today and saw an eviction notice, to bad I guess.

I’ve been going since they opened this location. About a month ago they decided to give a big middle finger to loyal customers. They raised prices significantly. They did not give any extra food. In fact I got less this time than my last order before the hike. The ingredients didn’t get any better. So why the hike? My go to shrimp bowl was $12 now it’s $20. Absolutely insane. Lost a customer to greedNot to mention I tried to by their bottle sauce a few months back. I got home and notice it was expired by over a year. Took it back and their whole stock was expired! So clearly little quality control going on…Food tastes fine but it’s not a whole lot quantity wise and with the price hike, I cannot recommend this place

Twice I’ve ordered from them and their food isn’t cooked properly. First time it was raw chicken liver. Second was raw chicken. Makes sense why the place is empty.

Not sure why the reviews are so negative! This place/location was amazing the food was amazing, the proportion was way more than enough, the place was super clean. The clear glasses up front you take for your drinks, not a spot on them & I look & I’m picky. My hubby had enough food for leftovers for lunch tomorrow. My salad had great deal of chicken mixed throughout. The gentleman up front was so kind, knowledgeable, & checked on us throughout our meal. I had the Galos Chicken Salad, hubby had the Galos Chicken Bowl, pic below. This Galos location was located in the Marketplace area in University Place, next to Whole Foods. People please leave good reviews if you have had a good experience to keep business open & flowing. People always seem to share the negative but don’t forget to share the good too!

After reading previous reviews I was hesitant, however everything we had was relatively good. Veggies were not fantastic but everything was hot, flavorful, and quality matched the price.

The two female workers were rude, along with that the place was trashed with empty plates all over the place.

When this first open,food are good we come back once and a while and quality and taste is hit or miss..Today 10/17/2022 we were here but our chicken is not cook,we show the lady the blood in the chicken but she said this has been frozen thats why its pink..Wow does she know what shes saying.So she said they will put it back on the grill,she only cover the blood with sauce and gave ut back to us..We will nit gonna come back here..so disappointed..Ugghhh

We've given this location a few chances and have been consistently disappointed. When ordering for delivery items are missing. Today, we went to pick it up for ourselves, came home to raw chicken in the middle. Not happy with quality of food here.

This is one of my favorite spots in UP. If you're a fan of piri-piri chicken, you won't be disappointed.

Vegetarian options: A good range of vegetarian options, and some solid pescatarian options. This certainly doesn't have a full vegan menu or anything, but there's a decent amount of choice. Worst case, MOD Pizza and the gyro place next door also provide more options, and the Galos folks won't mind you bringing their food over to dine-in with friends.

Parking: Lots of parking is always available in the parking garage and right outside Whole Foods.

Wheelchair accessibility: This whole area is highly accessible, with broad sidewalks, wide curb cuts, and good pedestrian infrastructure.

Ordered leg and thigh and the chicken was severely under cooked.

I work close by and always stop by here for lunch. The staff are friendly and the food is always delicious.
