Was my go to place for something quick but delicious when I lived in University Place. Now whenever I visit my old military buddies in the Tacoma area, I always make sure to stop and get something to eat. Some places over cook their Chicken Katsu, but this place always cooks it perfectly crunchy on the outside, but not dried out on the inside. And I will always recommend the chicken udon noodles.
Didn't care for the food. I ordered a lunch special chicken teriyaki. I prefer a sweeter and thicker sauce than what they serve and larger chunks of chicken. It's all about personal preference. It just wasn't something I would go back for again.Service was fine.
I picked up an order of spicy chicken teriyaki for dinner tonight. The owners are very nice and the food is excellent. The portions are absolutely huge. I'll be enjoying this for at least 2 meals.
