everything at this cafe is just perfection to their drinks to the food and to the atmosphere. their staff are so friendly. I went today with my friend and we ended up being by there near closing and they gave us a ton of amazing and yummy pastries. their food especially their pastries look unreal they look like toys that you want to eat but you can actually eat them!! i would like to thank the two staff members who gave me and my friend so much yummy food 😋

The location is perfect. Unfortunately, coffee baristas and sales associates showed zero abilities to effectively interact with and assist customers, no desire to interact with customers showing lack of empathy, and not meeting customer expectations for a positive service experience.

The worst cup of coffee I've ever had. I've tried just about every combo of latte and milk they have. I've also tried just a regular cup of joe. Everything tastes terrible and I don't know what it is. Service is great, people are friendly, cool environment but the coffee... absolutely not

Lovely place to come and hang out. The staff are always super helpful and friendly, the owner is always changing up the food menu and trying new things, and hosting cool events like music. This is the place to be!

I've lived in UP/Tacoma for YEARS and had no idea this was here! I stopped in after going to the library and the service was great.

Super friendly staff! My Matcha and my (Spinach?) Croissant were ready in like 5 minutes. I really enjoyed the atmosphere as well. I will definitley make this a regular stop.

This cafe was lovely! It had a sweet and intimate atmosphere. Calm and relaxing.

They offer a high quality selection of coffee, tea, flavored syrup for handcrafted beverages, and more.

I appreciate the warm customer service offered me that met me where I was at. Tailored to each customer.

Different seating options. Comfy large armchairs that are set for 1:1 conversations or reading alone. High ceilings with clean windows that have slight tint. It's perfect amount to be able to "sit in the sun" without feeling blinded in the afternoon. Sat facing westward at 3:30pm and it was comfortable.

Also loved all of the cute gifts available to purchase.

It has two entrance/exits. One of which opens to the atrium shared by the U. Place public library! Pick up a great read and head to the cafe!

This is the sweetest coffee shop. It is perfect for a coffee with a good book, or a small get together. The drinks are so yummy, and the baristas are the best. Thank you to Happy Duo for a relaxing, safe, friendly and delicious coffee shop experience.

Friendly and inviting. Delicious lattes too. I also got a free drink today when I purchased a $25 gift card for a friend.

I absolutely love this place. Their lavander latte is so delicious, and i love the pottery and handmade candles they have aswell, its a wonderful shop!
