This is a great place for an informal meal. The food was delicious comfort- style food. The soup of the day was so good that some that were with us ordered some to take home. We had a variety of food from a seafood platter, too patty melt to salad and soup. Everyone enjoyed it. Quiet atmosphere very conducive to visiting and an attentive server. It's a ways out of the way, but with it.
Great little place in a little town. A lot of history in the walls and certainly longtime customers that are characters themselves. Portions are appropriate and the food is home-cooked.
I've been going to this restaurant for 20 years. Food is good, restaurant is right on the train tracks, small town food and vibe. Id recommend the burgers, but all their food is good.
