I just wandered into this place randomly because I was hungry and what stood out the most was the service. It was superb!! Then the food backed it up. Truthfully I don’t think I’ve had better service at a restaurant. Bravo to whoever is running this place and doing the hiring. Well done

We have been to the Hazel Dell Amaro's Table many times and love it. For our anniversary we decided to try the Main Street one. Mistake!! While the food and service were top notch, just like the Hazel Dell one, the ambience was awful! The tables are crowded and very small. The chandeliers just don't fit the atmosphere. It felt like a diner with the long banquette and small, crowded tables. We were at a table right by the door with a view of the kitchen door -- not what you want for an anniversary dinner. We will just be going to the Hazel Dell one now.

1st time at Amaro’s Table. I came here on a local friend’s recommendation for their Happy Hour. Outstanding Old Fashioned! The food was great…it looked and tasted amazing. Leslie and Amelia were awesome and very welcoming. Looking forward to my next visit.

Spent my 49th birthday celebrating with friends at the downtown Amaro’s last night. Made a reservation just a few days before just so we had no wait (which we didn’t) and there was a lovely birthday card waiting at the table when we arrived. They are always a class act and treat every customer as a VIP. Their food is SO good and everyone always leaves stuffed and satisfied, usually with a box to take home. The steaks are always perfect and the fried chicken dinner is my absolute favorite southern fried chicken in the area. More than just good food, Amaro’s is an experience you’ll want again and again.

We recently celebrated my birthday at Amaro’s Table in downtown Vancouver, and it was an absolutely wonderful first visit. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance — casual yet refined, making it ideal for a special night without feeling overly formal.
From the moment we arrived, the service stood out in the best way. Rachel, our server, was attentive, kind, and never made us feel rushed. She took the time to answer all of our questions, offered great cocktail suggestions, and made sure my dairy allergy was taken seriously. My boyfriend had called ahead to mention the allergy and that it was my birthday — and the staff actually remembered! They left a handwritten card at our table and even brought out a dairy-free dessert just for me. The entire staff quietly and warmly wished me a happy birthday — no big scene, just thoughtful and genuine. It was so appreciated.
We started with pre-dinner cocktails — a Black Manhattan and an Old Fashioned — both expertly balanced and delicious. For dinner, my boyfriend ordered the Chicken Marsala with Brussels sprouts, and I had the Mango Chutney Pork Chops (with a side salad instead of the usual sides due to my allergy). Both dishes were perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and full of flavor.
We also brought our own wine, and the corkage fee was very reasonable — a nice touch that made the evening feel even more personal.
Amaro’s Table made my birthday feel so special without going over the top — just great food, incredible service, and meaningful touches. We’ll absolutely be back for future date nights, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a thoughtful dining experience in Vancouver.

just sitting outside after eating and immediately had to leave a review. This place was so sweet, they had a full wait inside but were able to get us outside, the food was amazing (huge portions) and the donuts are so freaking good. Not to mention the waitstaff was so kind, it was really nice to come visit and have such a good experience! 10/10!

This has the best happy hour!! We stopped by again before heading to the airport. The herb chicken sandwich was so moist and absolutely delicious. I shared the chicken tenders with my husband. They were not the size of fingers but the size of the whole hand!! Both my son and husband had the steak medallions for the second time! They must have been really good because my husband forgot to share them with me! I ordered the special rotating cocktail with gin. It even was served with an orchid!! Wow was that smooth and tasty!! Our server Tana was so friendly and personable!! She even offered to exchange my son's drink to a different one. We will definitely be going back next time we fly out!
