I hadn’t been to a Baja Fresh in 15 years. I decided to stop in and order a steak and veggie burrito. I’m a huge Mexican food fan! I used to love Baja fresh and I ordered this dish many times in the past, but this was the worst burrito I’ve ever had in my life! I took two bites of it and threw it in the garbage after spending $15 on my lunch. The veggies were so overcooked that they were mush, the steak was fatty and tasted like very low quality sirloin, if it even was sirloin. The service was good, but I will not be back. I was very disappointed!

Baja Fresh always surprises me with how tasty and consistent it is. I probably have the strongest sense of credibility in this review board, only because I’ve been eating here just about every week for a couple of years. Sad? Maybe. But it’s not sad once you consider the product and service. Lydia and Carlos manage the front desk and always get the order right, Tony in the back never misses. I tried chipotle’s carnitas burrito, and it’s just a sad wannabe of what these guys are pulling with the pork carnitas. These guys and bell tower are my go to in Vancouver.

It's a chain but one of the better ones. The have fresh ingredients and a good variety of meats and salsa. It's somewhat fast food Mexican that you don't have to feel guilty about. I like chips. I am now officially addicted to Baja Fresh. In my opinion (and my family’s) every point to score receives a 10. The food is delish and you have a bunch of choices to make it “yours”. The people are always efficient and friendly and the atmosphere is clean and upbeat. I would always recommend Baja Fresh to everyone.
