Omg. Brock was amazing. So informative and funny and engaging. He gave us the experience I normally expect at a winery where I’m doing a tasting. He is amazing. This was our fifth stop on our wine trail but also our favorite. I can’t wait to come back.

Friends took me out Friday for bday. So impressed I switched venues for my bigger Saturday celebration. They have FOOD! Perfect sharables. Brock was our server both nights. Everything was great. All the staff were accommodating and very cool. The wine is a great deal also and not cheap tasting for $25 bottles. We’ll be going back’

We have been members at Brian Carter for about 3 years now. We have taken friends and family to the Vancouver tasting room and everyone seems to really enjoy it. Bethany, Wynne, Hayden, Kevin, and the whole staff are just like family themselves and they consistently provide exceptional service while turning our regular visits into fun and memorable experiences. The pear and gorgonzola flatbread, charcuterie, and the whipped goat cheese are some of our favorite bites here. The various art events have been fun and creative too. The release parties are also pretty exclusive and are always educational with Brian presenting the new wines he has been working on. Originally, we joined because of the delicious and creative Spanish red blends but more specifically, the One series. Those varietals were really good and represented the best Washington state had to offer. The Sauzao and Tempranillo were a few of our favorite One series. Both pretty much gone now. Unfortunately, the One series has dwindled to just a few varietals over the past few years and that is the very thing that really got us interested enough to sign on as members. The blends are great, but as Amour members, we are disappointed to see less and less of single varietals. What happened to the great One series?

Brian Carter Cellars offers a unique blend of art and science in winemaking, crafting exceptional wines that showcase the best of Washington state’s diverse vineyards.

Known for their expertly balanced blends, each wine is thoughtfully composed to highlight the strengths of different varietals.

Whether you're sipping their bold reds or crisp whites, every bottle is a testament to the winemaker’s deep knowledge and passion.
The tasting room experience is warm and inviting, making it a must-visit for wine lovers seeking both quality and creativity in every glass.

Excellent service from Hayden.

Perfectly laid back, friendly atmosphere with flavorful small plates and delicious red blends! We love that they're dog friendly and kid friendly too. The employees recognize us now and always make great recommendations depending on our preferences or mood. Everyone is genuinely happy, and it's been the same employees working there since we started going almost 2 years ago. Thank you Bethany, Hayden, Kevin, Wynn, and Brock for making us feel so welcome!

The food was great here but I have to say, my husband and I just don’t care for their wines. We have been wine folks for over 14 years as a compromise to have a little adult time (I’m a beer and cider girl and the hubs is a whiskey and tequila guy.) Unfortunately we felt the wine flight we had tasted more like chemicals than a fine wine. The charcuterie board was delicious though and the staff were friendly.

I ordered a wine tasting flight which was great, 5 stars!
However, poor service kinda ruined my experience. My husband and I didn't want to order food as we already had dinner and the server got visibly upset at that. The first wine was poured at the right amount, the second - I got less, third -less and less, and by the time we got to the last wine there was barely anything in my glass. At some point the server just emptied a bottle in my glass, without actually checking if it was an appropriate amount. As such, we felt rushed and pretty much gulped the last glass so I could pay the check and leave.

The wines were all very good and the backstory of the maker is interesting. We got the sausage fennel flatbread which was pretty good, but a bit in the sweet side because of the onion jam. It was well made, just not my cup of tea. They had live music which was a nice surprise. Will be back to try more wine and snacks!

Hayden was amazing in walking us through the wine tasting. He was quick, knowledgeable, and very sweet. I am not a huge wine drinker, but he walked me through all of it. Very nice spot on the waterfront.
