The staff at Yumm are always friendly and the food is always good, with good presentation. I deducted a star due to the fact I think Yumm is way over priced. Why does "good food" have to be so outrageously expensive. Minus 1 star for that. If money is no object, then consider it 5? all the way.
Ordered two Yumm bowls, one with southwest chicken, one with seasoned tofu. Tofu one was vegan sub avocado. The tofu one had very little Yumm sauce that I could discern and a normal amount of avocado, certainly not any extra. Also there was a rock in it. A literal rock. Small, but a rock nonetheless.The one with chicken had no chicken in it, as it was never added. I called after finding this error (pre-stone) and they said “Oh no!”, then a long pause, then they offered to give us a free skewer of chicken the next time we come in. Which really isn’t free, since we paid for it and didn’t receive it, and who wants to drive all the way back to Chkalov for a small chicken skewer?I liked Cafe Yumm for a long time and I think the 192nd location is still pretty good, but this one on Chkalov is not great, and not helpful when they mess up.

Long time fan of yumm but I’m missing all of the soups they used to offer. They’ve scaled back in Vancouver to all but chili and chilean zucchini. Bring back the tomato curry and African groundnut!

Staff was so friendly. The dining room was very clean. The food was fresh and delicious. I had the BBQ tofu plate with brown rice and slaw. My brother had the chicken wrap. Which is liked as well. I'll definitely be back to try more. Good for vegans, vegetarian, and they do serve chicken.Vegetarian options: Everything can be made vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: They use simple whole foods and advertise their willingness to adhere to dietary restrictions.Parking: Se real spots in front of the store.Kid-friendliness: If your kids eat healthy, they have a kids menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat from parking to the door.

I always, always order the same things. It's really tasty, but there seems to always be an issue: ingredients missing, like, chicken or tempeh.Today's order, the bowl wasn't full like it usually is, like it should be. Disappointing. And they only give you a small amount of coconut aminos, one small container that is only full 1/16 of the way-- even if you order multiple items from their menu. Oh, but they make sure to ask for a tip for your fast food. That tip they do no forget about. Even their GM turns the tip screen over at ya. ?
My wife and I stop here everytime we go to Portland. This location is always clean, staff is super sweet, and the food is freakin delicious! I especially like the BBq Tofu added to my original Yumm bowl. So good.
