Omg my mom and I ate on our meals for 3 days. Not only is it huge portions but amazing food.
Absolutely amazing worth whatever weight you may have to endure.
I came in to buy pancakes and a coffee and some over easy eggs and they charge me well over $20. I can go down to Nyleys ‘s place. On Highway 99 and only pay like 10 bucks for a cup of coffee two over easy eggs and three pancakes and the food was not good at all. I do not recommend ever coming here overpriced food does not look that good and does not taste that good
Best breakfast ever!
Good food and good service! Will be back!
Fun, hometown style diner with some of the friendliest people in the Vancouver area. Fairly extensive menu with all the classics and favorites you would expect. Breakfast is served all day.
Be sure to try their local hot sauces!
Be prepared for Large, albeit Delicious food served with outstanding service. There's a reason the waiting line is always out the door. This is not your average breakfast joint. This is real homemade style breakfast, not a bunch of caned and packaged junk.

I ordered takeout at carols since i was recommended here for its food portion, so got a half meal french toast, and while the food itself wasn't bad, the price shocked me. I paid $15, only to find a tiny portion waiting for me when I opened it back at school. There were just two small sausages and two eggs at the bottom of the two toasts. I finished it in about 7 minutes and was still hungry afterward. Although the food tasted good, I felt that for $15, I could have bought much more elsewhere. ?

This is an old fashioned diner and the building is not much to look at but the food is very good. It is first come first served with a line out the door. The portions of food are huge (for me, the hash plate is at least 4 meals). The cinnamon rolls are the size of a child’s basketball and the biscuits were 3-4 inches tall.

I come here somewhat frequently with group of friends, and it's been amazing every time.
Food is stupid consistent, and always tastes great.
Staff are always really nice and helpful.
Ask about their hot sauces

Waitstaff are cool. No shade on them.
But I think I'm done with Carol's. The Appeal was the giant portions + ridiculously low pricing. It wasn't the quality of the food I went for but the quantity and price point.
But now with the price hike, it's not worth it anymore. I know the pricing is more standard, but meh. I'll find somewhere else.
I'd rather have a normal portion at a normal price. They did mess up my order and overcharge me this time, too. I think it was an honest mistake but the nail is in the coffin.
End of an era I guess.
