This bar is verrrryy dark. Drinks are average. Food is unremarkable, and portions seem small for the price. Patrons are friendly. Bartenders seem so interested in interacting with the regular crowd that it's hard for a newcomer to get their attention. I was here for about an hour and a half, and heard more F-bombs in that time than in the past five years (no, I am not a church lady). I will not return.

Somehow I always end up here. And I always run into someone from my good 'ol drinking days, and I'm amazed at how many walks of life hang here. It's pretty cool. When I can't find anything to do (sorry that sounded mean, but true), I go here. It's chill, there's bands, and everybody knows your name. Dark and divey. Just the way I like em!

Cascade Bar and Grill is the East Side Gem in the Rough.
Love this place.
Excellent Food Excellent Service.
Weekdays Karaoke Monday-Thursday. The DJ for Karaoke is one of the nicest people I have met in the last Decade. Definitely will get you setup with your song you wish to sing and your timing to groove your tune. Ronni and Robin Bartenders are Amazing so cool and each able to do 5 things at Once.
I've met more life long friends in Cascade then at any Gym I worked out at.
All I can really Say is The Bar Exceeds my expectations every time.
Every time I go I'm welcomed as Family and always leave with a Smile and New Lifetime Friend.
Weekend Live Music for small Venue; is Always Amazing such a great assortment of different bands and music styles.
I'm older Man and I would not walk into bar by Mt View Ice Arena not worthy of mentioning name always negative vibes from first 5 seconds.
Cascade I walk in and just say What's Up to Anyone and Greeted with Hello from Someone.
Cascade will be here when other East Side bars will again change names.
And I will just laugh driving by other East Side bars; on my way to Cascade thinking there is a Good Reason Cascade has been the East Side go to for 70 years. Love It Keep Rockin Cascade!!
Love Everyone Here 💕

Personally I’ve always had a great time here, the bartenders are awesome and it’s always a great place to get wasted. In my experience as a gay person I’ve never had any issues here at all

It's my favorite watering hole in the Vancouver area. Live bands every weekend, cheap cover when there's live music, drinks are poured well and reasonably priced, and the staff are AMAZING.

This is a neighborhood dive bar. But it was a great and unexpected experience. Don’t have high expectations and you’ll have a blast, particularly when there’s live music!

It is almost an lgbtqz exclusive bar but behind all the rainbows they seem angry and hateful which is ironic
My credit card info got stolen after visiting here. Pay cash.
