Been coming here very week for years now. Food is some of the best I've had at a bar, I especially like the chili dog and the mac n cheese. Drinks are reasonably priced. The karaoke crowd and KJ are great. LGBT friendly

This is a great little bar with live music. And a older crowd seems mostly 40 to 60 year old rocker crowd ,, I had their cheese burger and fries which was cooked to absolute perfection flame broiled with a slight bark , best I've eaten in a long time,, the atmosphere was great with a live band that played classic rock, Adrenaline rush was the band and they did a great job!! Brought back some great 80s memories,, mellow environment and friendly attentive staff. Did not drink alcohol but from what I could see they have an extensive selection of liquor.. over all I give this place 5 shin ing stars. The wife and I have found a new place in vancouver to unwind.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
Dude at the door was a level of rude that I haven’t experienced in a very long time. So bad that we left before even sitting down. Will never go back!
Halloween door guy was a total jerk. Rude.. very rude.. just after asking him questions., i didn't even want to wait.. not worth it, with his vibe.

I'm from Olympia and traveled to Vancouver to visit friends and go karaoke for our bday celebrations. They raved about this place as they've enjoyed it in the past. So we called an UBER and took the trip. We got there and we're greeted by staff who said there was no karaoke as they were having a live band and the cover was $5. Cool we were down with that. We paid the cover but quickly noticed a handful of people come in behind us who did not have to pay the cover. Maybe they were returning no bigs... We ordered our 1st round of drinks as well as 3 orders of food. We sat and enjoyed the band and our food and drinks. Ordered our 2nd round of drinks and some water. Did I mention the band was great! Stepped out for a cigarette came back in and sat down and continued to enjoy the show. 2/4 of us went to the bar for our 3rd drink. Where this guy was very aggressively trying to pay for our drinks and looming over us. Like standing almost on top of my friend. We politely declined but he stuck around. I took my drink (all in front of the bar staff a gal with green in her hair) and then went back to our table my friend stayed at the bar chatting. After about 10 minutes my friend comes back to the table saying she'd like to leave as the bartender had cut off our group but was going to let her buy a drink for one of our friends...with the bartender stating that she didn't know us and that the night was young... my friend was very offended and felt it was about race as she is a person of color and the friend they were going to allow her to buy a drink for is a white person, after being cut off herself as well as the other 2 of us.
Never mind the lady hustling flowers inside the bar or the creepy guy at the counter.
I worked as a bartender for 7 years and this is not at all how you retain regular customers or leave a good impression as a business...

Pretty good dive bar. Karaoke was good. Drinks were good. Decent price. Great parking and no cover is awesome. I really liked the outdoor space they have as well. Spent a lot of time out there talking to so many new friends.

Every night is a new adventure at this place. Regulars and new comers are equally welcome. Karaoke, amazing food, great vibe, no one feels left out. Music scene is always 🔥 and bartenders give that neighborhood bar feeling of FAFO! Must try.

This bar is verrrryy dark. Drinks are average. Food is unremarkable, and portions seem small for the price. Patrons are friendly. Bartenders seem so interested in interacting with the regular crowd that it's hard for a newcomer to get their attention. I was here for about an hour and a half, and heard more F-bombs in that time than in the past five years (no, I am not a church lady). I will not return.

Somehow I always end up here. And I always run into someone from my good 'ol drinking days, and I'm amazed at how many walks of life hang here. It's pretty cool. When I can't find anything to do (sorry that sounded mean, but true), I go here. It's chill, there's bands, and everybody knows your name. Dark and divey. Just the way I like em!

Cascade Bar and Grill is the East Side Gem in the Rough.
Love this place.
Excellent Food Excellent Service.
Weekdays Karaoke Monday-Thursday. The DJ for Karaoke is one of the nicest people I have met in the last Decade. Definitely will get you setup with your song you wish to sing and your timing to groove your tune. Ronni and Robin Bartenders are Amazing so cool and each able to do 5 things at Once.
I've met more life long friends in Cascade then at any Gym I worked out at.
All I can really Say is The Bar Exceeds my expectations every time.
Every time I go I'm welcomed as Family and always leave with a Smile and New Lifetime Friend.
Weekend Live Music for small Venue; is Always Amazing such a great assortment of different bands and music styles.
I'm older Man and I would not walk into bar by Mt View Ice Arena not worthy of mentioning name always negative vibes from first 5 seconds.
Cascade I walk in and just say What's Up to Anyone and Greeted with Hello from Someone.
Cascade will be here when other East Side bars will again change names.
And I will just laugh driving by other East Side bars; on my way to Cascade thinking there is a Good Reason Cascade has been the East Side go to for 70 years. Love It Keep Rockin Cascade!!
Love Everyone Here 💕
