Visiting friends in Portland, they took us here for Breakfast. Loved the ambiance. After a 30-minute wait (we didn't have a reservation), we were finally seated and waited... and waited... and waited, eventually receiving our order after another 45 minutes. Two of three orders were wrong - I had ordered "The standard" - described as "the standard two eggs* with a choice of bacon or Zenner's sausage served with home fries or field greens and choice of toast"....
Seriously a must hit if you want a great meal. My friend and I had breakfast for our first visit. Wow! I now want to try a few other dishes. They were amazing. Friendly staff that made us feel part of a family meal versus just out for breakfast!
One of the absolute best breakfast spots. Grits, perfectly seasoned.. Biscuit was incredibly light and fluffy.. tres leches was great too. Drinks were on par too.. tables were a bit close together, but what do you do? Just be friendly with the kid next to you. we will be back.
