Always a good experience. ?
Such a cute little spot! Love the gourmet grilled cheese and tartine options as well as love that they have great chai tea lattes! They also have yummy desserts but we tried the beignets. They were very good but did not taste homemade. Next time I will probably try one of the pastries for dessert. Overall it was really good and I will return and recommend it to others!

I don’t write reviews often. My boyfriend and I to try this place out. Seemed like a hidden gem. He ordered the iced chai and it was very good! Not overly sweet but very smooth. He got the ham and Gruyère and I got the tuna melt, it was a solid sandwich. Asked for greens and tomatoes to be added on the tuna melt, I had no issue paying extra. Only received a very small amount of greens. Not a big issue. The tuna salad was slightly salty so I asked for a side of tomatoes which helped balance out the saltiness. The bread was toasted perfectly. We took the rest of our sammies in a Togo box.We ordered the lemon butter crepe. I’ve had this at other patisseries so I was excited to try it here. It came out… no color on the crepe and drenched in a thin sauce. It looked and tasted raw. Anyone knows that color on food adds depth to the dish. The crepe was drowning in sauce, which made it soggy as all get go and slimy. We had two tiny bites. The waitress asked if we wanted a Togo box for the crepe and we politely declined. She asked if we were not happy w it and my bf being a sweet man said it was something we’re not used to. She said okay and took it away.Got the check and it wasn’t taken off.Never in my thousand of outings has an establishment not taken an item off bc it wasn’t suited for our taste buds. My family owns 3 restaurants and we always offer to make something else or take it off the check if it obviously hasn’t mostly been eaten.I went to pay and asked “I’m curious why the item was not taken off” and she replied with “was something wrong with it?”. I simply told her that it tasted raw and that it wasn’t the most pleasant bc it was slimy and undercooked. She said it’s a wet crepe so it’s going to be mushy. She took it off kindly and I bought a bottle of wine from their storefront. If I didn’t experience that crepe or it was taken off like all other establishments would do, it would’ve been a 4/5.Might go back for sandwiches and tea.

Sweet little restaurant! We came for the gluten free crepes, and they did not disappoint. I got the Monte Cristo and it was so tasty! We also got coffee, the French press came with a timer and it was delightfully strong. They also had dairy free milk/creamer options. Would love to come back and try something else!
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free crepes, dairy free milks.

The Crogue Monsieur is amazing. I went with my son, and he said his grilled cheese was better than Mama's. We highly recommend Crest LA Vie and we are making this a regular stop. Bon appetit

Cute restraunt with welcoming staff and warm vibes! I came here for breakfast and had a pretty good grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup, nothing too special. My cousin had a Nutella crepe and you can't really go wrong with that. From the looks of their menu though, I'll definitely be coming back to try out their other options. (I recommend getting something different)

Cozy and comfortable place to have a good breakfast. I had a Monte Cristo crepe. Excellent. I asked about the beignets, and the server explained that they are purchased off-site and warmed here. I thought that was very honest, so points for that. I ordered them anyway, and enjoyed them. They were served with a lemon compote, another nice touch. Not as excellent as the beignets at the Cafe du Monde in New Orleans, but still pretty good. I travel between California and Seattle often, so I have added C'est la Vie to my Google Maps Favorites.
Parking: The restaurant is in a strip mall, so parking is right there.

The crapes were really amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I will say that I have silly acc and it ordered gluten free crepes. But I did get sick after eating there so I would suggest anyone who has celiacs be cautious. But I still give it a 5 start. It was the most amazing place i've been in a long time.
