This place is such a good vibe! Love all the graffiti all over the walls and bathroom. Had a great bartender this last weekend named roxanne. Very nice and had a great attitude even when she was busy. Can't wait to come back and try the "massive nachos" as she put it. Had the halibut fish and onion rings. It was great! Came out piping hot and with not much of a wait! 10/10 would recommend!

Been going here for years and I don't know why because everytime the staff is stuck up and rude, if they mess up on your order, you have to wait again for forever while everyone else eats and then they want to charge $3 for a tablespoon of guacamole, when I asked her if she was really going to charge me $3, her come back was "I don't make the prices" well no shyt but after making me wait for my food that you messed up on, you could have comped the the tiny amount of guacamole for the inconvenience but I see now this place is not about customer service at all and everyone talks about it in town so I'd step it up a little.

It's a working person's bar in an industrial area that is often an easy stop during afternoon Happy Hour. Simple menu, many cold beers on tap, Sports TVs everywhere, and friendly fast service. So... when I'm thirsty, hungry and need a break, I stop. 2-2024 update: Yes, I still hit Charlies - especially Tuesday for their "Taco Tuesday" (If you couldn't tell from my photos). They have a different theme for each day. I remember Wednesday as well: "Wing Wednesday" many different finishes for the wings. You have to try them all so you can find your favorites!
We got the sampler platter and everything was pretty good. The Pretzels and dip were delicious. The boneless chicken wings were a little lacking in flavor, as I expected a sauce and it was just a sprinkle of parm and garlic.My biggest complaint was the chicken tornados. My date ate one and he said it was fine but to me they tasted like they'd been dipped in pinesol. I almost had to spit it out. The atmosphere is cool and there are tons of TVs, we will definitely be back (just not for the tornados).

If you have never had tachos in your life....let me tell you want you are missing. The great combination of nachos and tatertots has joined forces. You need these in your life and Charlie's has them.The service at Charlie's has never let me down. No matter who comes to my table they take car of you. This bar is the bar of bars in Vancouver. So far no other place comes close.Run don't walk to the tachos you never knew you needed and the awesome service to go with it. Thank me later!

If I could give this place zero stars for service I would. The bartender was absolute trash we waited in line for 20 minutes for drinks while she was outside fighting with her boyfriend. She was absolutely horrible I have not received such horrible service in any other bar I have ever been to!
