This location is their cute roastery, not their cute downtown café. It's my favorite sit-down cappuccino in town and there's free parking. My go to is an oatmilk latte with the house muscovado syrup in a proper cup. If you buy a bag of fresh roasted beans here, you get a fancy coffee for $1. They have seating options and a bathroom behind the coffee bar. And there's some poke stops 😎 👍 ✨ Updated from previous review on 2025-07-04
We are Compass regulars and love catching up with Reese & Amy when we stop by. Compass has consistent quality and a friendly, casual atmosphere. Shout out to Tiernan for a beautiful pour this weekend!
I got lost and turned around in there
Best kept secret. Now open 7 days a week.
Coffee was really good, and appreciate the fact they mix their iced coffee’s with a bartender’s shaker, making it so much more delicious than a basic ass stir.
Ordered the seasonal latte (orange), and it was not for me. Asked if I could get a regular cup of coffee to go (way below the value of their seasonal latte) because I could not stomach the latte, and they stated I’d need to pay. This company policy has ensured that I will not return. Disappointing.
We just had the most amazing experience at Compass Coffee off of NE 72nd in Vancouver. Aubrey was such a friendly and welcoming host for our morning coffee date. We chose vanilla lattes and shared the monkey bread. Whoa - get the buttery goodness that is the monkey bread. Aubrey made us the most delicious lattes too. Fast service, awesome staff and great atmosphere! We will be back - 10/10!
Delicious iced white mocha!
IMO the best in town!
Awesome place, friendly people, enthusiastic about coffee. Toast was great too )
A great locally owned coffee shop especially when you want to avoid the Starbucks vibe. I always feel so focused when I come here to work and the baristas are friendly and kind. It's also the home of a coffee company so you see them developing their blends! Enjoy !

Love this place, has a mild bohemian interior.. some Antique repurposed furniture.. feels like a home environment. The keep the music at a mild level which makes it conducive for that remote work. And they make good coffee.

Such a great hidden gem. The barista was so nice and helpful. The latte I got was delicious and the latte art was beautiful. I loved the almond scone and the atmosphere.

So glad they reopened the space for people to enjoy. A nice little hideaway place to enjoy coffee and conversation.

I'm not a fan of earthy focused coffee beans, leaves a filmy dirt taste in my mouth, and doesn't blend well with additives.
