I work from coffee shops daily, sometimes visiting multiple in the same day. These are the highest prices out of the entire PDX area. It’s pretty cramped, construction going on, and no customer restroom. Nice friendly staff, however, and quick service.

Best customer service. Coffee is really good but their iced Matcha is one of my favorite drinks
As a Vancouver local I've tried A LOT of the local coffee shops and this is by far the best. Their food, incredible, their roasts are amazing and it's one of the few places I can drink and Americano black and enjoy it. If you haven't been to this semi hidden gem of a coffee shop, you're missing out.

Love stopping by every so often for a coffee or matcha, highly recommend a hot caramel breve (M) or iced matcha… Every so often that they know my order😉
Love the seating option inside and outside! Thank you compass coffee team!! Do wish the pricing was a little cheaper :)

Coffee is over priced. Also seems highly caffeinated. One cup of fresh ground coffee had me feeling antsy. But for 30 bucks a pound? Come on man.

This location is their cute roastery, not their cute downtown café. It's my favorite sit-down cappuccino in town and there's free parking. My go to is an oatmilk latte with the house muscovado syrup in a proper cup. If you buy a bag of fresh roasted beans here, you get a fancy coffee for $1. They have seating options and a bathroom behind the coffee bar. And there's some poke stops 😎 👍 ✨ Updated from previous review on 2025-07-04
Always great coffee!
Delicious coffee, avocado toast looked good, and the bagel and cream cheese was yummy.
Matcha with vanilla flavoring and oat milk is the move! Golden milk is also delicious.
Good drinks and kind staff. It could use a little atmosphere upgrade.
