Looks like there is a change in menu chef and management. Food was not good at all. We used to get a tomato soup and 3 cheese grilled sandwich and a veg Quinoa bowl. It used to be out of this world esp the soup and sandwich.Thisvtime they didn't have it on hbf menu. I had a grilled cheese sandwich with broccoli cheddar soup. It was clearly not top of the line for us. Very mediocre. Will not go here again

Farrar's is our favorite restaurant !! I have tried quite a few of their menu options and have never had a disappointing meal. The gorgonzola Cheesecake and the spinach dip are two of our favorite apps. The steak bites, the pork bowl in the summer.... mouth watering. My family loves the Mac and cheese and the teriyaki bowl.Delectable eats!

Always good food here. The wait was very long this time (over an hour on a Thursday night). We were able to sit in the bar for the wait. Both areas were packed, so it was very load and hard to hear the other person. I've been here many, many times, and the food is top-notch, but a little spendy.Parking: Small amount of parking spots on either side of the restaurant, but it's always hard to find those open. Then there is additional parking about a block away. The walk is not so fun in the rain and dark (for women alone).

Really a nice neighborhood place. Food was delicious, portions were reasonable as were the prices. The menu had a decent amount of selections. There were a number of interesting cocktail selections. They don't take reservations so there may be a wait. Tables are close together. There is a nice bar area. We definitely will go back.

Great staff and delicious food, however, I cannot give this place a 5 star review. The owner of Farrars has questionable morals. He likes to sit in his restaurant, get drunk, and brag about how rich he is. He likes to hire small contractors to do work on his restaurant and other houses and then does not pay them and threatens them if they try to do anything about it. He also treats his staff poorly. He is verbally abusive and calls female staff vulgar names and threatens them regularly. He is not a good man and I sadly can no longer support this place.

Happy hour prices here are insane for the quality of food/drink provided. One of the best pulled pork sandwiches I’ve ever had for $9?! If this place were in my neighborhood it would be problematic.
