Update 9/2/2025: It's a sad day, Fat Daves is no more. I wasn't a regular, but we stopped in often enough to know some of the faces, and we ALWAYS enjoyed each visit. Now I need to find the next most convenient place that compares.
After COVID: They are back and as good as ever. I love their omelets! Dinner is great too, but I love a good, sit down breakfast!

I don't mind the old school, outdated decor etc but the smell was awful. The food was not at all good. Our table has a breakfast burrito with hash browns and a burger and tots. The tots were the best thing served. It smells dusty but looked clean and reaked of ancient cigarette smoke like the venting and ceiling tiles were never deep cleaned when smoking stopped happening inside. Service was great so I came here to give two stars. Until.....I saw the owners responses to some reviews. Responding with emojis and telling ome reviewer that the hot chocolate was cuter than their personality. Provided a professional response or don't. Looking forward to seeing what emoji I get for this.

Make Name Acceptable Go
With the right expectations, old time western diner, this place checks all the boxes.
Not fancy. Not first date. But friendly waitresses, decent food, and a vibe that will make a 60-year-old feel like they were about 10.
The bar was a very busy, and all the folks inside looked very happy.

Edit- their chicken fried steak is a burger patty dipped in pancake batter.
