Golden City is a Hazel Dell neighborhood Chinese restaurant. The service was friendly and the food came out hot and fresh. The price is good especially since the portions are very generous!
They were busy with lots of carry out orders and almost all seats filled on the evening we went.

Wonton soup was wonton and couple pieces of BBQ pork in broth. The potstickers had very dry meat in THICK dry dough with soy sauce. Go elsewhere...

Found this piece of steel wool in my Golden City Beef lunch combo. I understand getting the food out quickly, but something like this can really hurt someone.

I called in two orders of pork fried rice for carry out, when I got home opened the container, I was given plchicken fried rice. I called them to let them know the lady, was tellinging me no I give you pork fried rice, so I said I bring it back and show you. I drive back, and she looks at it and say no this is pork fried rice, the meet is totally white, and I also tried a piece, and this was undoubtedly chicken, she insisted it's the pork they use. I was born but it wasn't yesterday, insulting they have the nerve to tell me I don't know what chicken tastes and looks like. They wouldn't just own the mistake they're made and make what I paid for, such a joke and terrible service. Order food at your own risk here, because you may just get what ever they decide to give you, regardless of what you ordered and paid for. Absolutely shameful smh!

Above average food for what passes for a reasonable price now. Location is in a Class B type strip mall and doesn't stand out, but worth a visit. Can be a little drafty in cold weather so bring a jacket.

Awesome food, Phoenix and Dragon a favorite, but everything we've had so far has been great. Lots of veggies and meat. 😺

The food was delicious, and the portions were great for the price. The service on the underhand was not. I always leave cash tip, so when the young lady asked me if i wanted to put a tip in the card I said no thank you, As Im waiting for my card back about to reach for my cash she tosses the card on the counter at me. And proceeded to catch an attitude when I asked for my receipt. So I decided not to leave the tip. If it were not for that interaction, it would have been 5 stars.

This is by far the absolute best Chinese anywhere around here. I moved here 6 years ago and have been so disappointed with Asian food out here. But then I found this gem. They also have reasonable prices compared to anywhere else too!

My girlfriend wanted some Asian food and picked this place out. Going in I'd be lying if I didnt say I wasn't expecting much. The server was very straight forward and we liked that a lot. The menu is very large with a variety of options and they'll likely ask you on a scale of 1-5 how spicy you want something which is nice.
The food was AMAZING Firstly the portions were gigantic and unbelievable. I was getting ready to be handed a small plate of several pieces of chicken and a small ball of rice, boy was I wrong. Shrinkflation does not exist in this restaurant. They also gave us complimentary tea which was very nice. I asked for Kung Pao and had expectations which were not just met but surpassed! My girlfriends General Tsao was also very good.
Don't go to a fancy place if you're in the mood for asian food. You'll likely just waste your money, go here instead and be rewarded instead of punished for eating out. We will be coming back for sure.
