Absolutely the best barbecue in the country the meats are moist and delicious and the barbecue sauce that they make with the cherries is out of this world? the sides are amazing too I live across the country now and can't get Goldies anymore and it makes me sad if you have a chance give Goldies a try I promise you won't regret it!

I'm an OTR truck driver. And I've eaten barbecue in Louisiana. I've eaten barbecue in Texas. I've eaten barbecue in Oklahoma and Missouri. And we got some of the best barbecue right here in Vancouver, Washington. I'd put Goldie's Texas style barbecue up against anybody. The meats are all on point. 5 out of 5 stars. The meats are always well seasoned and cook to perfection. Although I will admit, I have never had the sausage. Also I would recommend the sweet potato pie.The side items aren't holding up their half of the food bargain though. The beans and Mac and cheese are about average. The collard green's taste heavily of black pepper. The chicken rice and corn on the cob are also just about average. This is not the best location either. There's only one driveway in and out of this small shopping plaza. I come to eat at goldie's about once a month. There's always some congestion in the parking lot.Military and police paraphernalia are covering every available piece of the walls at this facility. I don't have a good opinion of either organization, but to each their own. It's kinda hard to overlook if you come here to eat.

Solid 1 star. I will not be going back. The staff was not friendly and the food was okay, but not even good for the price. Only stayed because sister's boyfriend wanted to eat here and so she did and so I did.For a place that seems to try to scream "authentic Texan BBQ", it got the bad stereotypical part Texas right, like all the worst parts of the South and Texas you can think of (which is rude to Texan's everywhere and for which I would like to deeply, deeply apologize but it is just all the bad stereotypes that come out of the place and I know that you guys are more than that). As someone who has been to Texas, the food here was very disappointing and as far as vibes go I felt more in danger here than I have anywhere in Texas. The only place I have felt more danger is under a dark underpass at night walking home near a wooded area when there was a sniper alert not 5 hours prior in the same area (yes, this happened in Vancouver). And at the very least Texan's also know how to do southern polite, and these guys clearly don't.

This was our first time here. They were busy, which was a good sign. Huge nod to military and law enforcement in the decor. The staff were super friendly. We got the brisket, baby back ribs, and chicken with BBQ beans, slaw, and corn bread for sides. This was one meal, that we shared and it was plenty of food. The brisket and ribs were excellent. The chicken was a little dry. BBQ beans were interesting, but good. Corn bread was a little dry as well. I would have liked to have had some butter and honey. We will definitely be back. The unfortunate part is they had a sign up that said they were being forced out of the building and looking for a new home. I don't know why, but what a bummer for them.
