I often come to this sushi place, and the food is always fresh and delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive. However, it seems like the air conditioning hasn’t been working lately, and it feels a bit stuffy inside. If the ventilation or AC could be improved, the dining experience would be perfect.

Always amazing. I had really hope the Hokkaido opening of Vancouver mall was the same location so it would be closer to me, but they are a pale imitation to this location. I feel like they even try to copy the style but when I asked, they said they’re not the same owners. we will always drive the extra distance for this location

Ordered beef bento and the meat was very tough. They use cheap cuts of meats and fish. Our waiter started out nice but kept doing some thing else near the cash register and ignored us for the rest of our meal. We had to rely on other waiters to get our Togo box and check.

I do not recommend this restaurant it smells like fish when you walk in, my white wine was served at room temperature which is extremely strange, and the sushi was so so at best.

This is a casual, very comfortable sushi restaurant... but they are so much more! They have a wide variety of items on the menu, and everything we ordered, sushi and non-sushi items, was served hot and fast... and delicious!! Our group of 5 ranged in age from 6 - 65 and we each thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Oh, and their prices are VERY reasonable. It was our first visit and we're already talking about going back soon! My family and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful sushi and poki bowl, the service was quick and the environment was very cutesy and overall pne of the best sushi rolls I've ever had!!

They don’t have any more the chef specials when we asked and that was the biggest reason why we went there. Also, it was very cold in there with the air-conditioning blowing right on us.

In my opinion, best sushi in Vancouver
Giving it 4 stars only because of the wait after being seated, it took 45 minutes to get our sushi. That said, the food was delicious. Not quite ‘worth-the-wait’ level, but definitely good enough that we’d come back (just maybe not during peak hours).

Had high hopes because of the good photos and heartfelt reviews. Unfortunately, the nigiri salmon was below average. The salmon tasted like nothing, and was sliced extremely thinly. Sushi rice was warm, but again, not very good.
