All I can say is Ditto to all the wonderful things I've written in the past! Ces And Kale are so welcoming and friendly as soon as we arrive. Your whole staff is wonderful!

Table next to us was really loud. Food was ok. Service was ok. We expected a little better for the cost.

This is a great place to have dinner and drink. The food is great and service was awesome and the atmosphere was good.
They took the concept of hospitality and developed it to personal touch.

The food was great. The meatloaf was very flavorful and the Hummus was amazing.

This place has always served top notch cuisine paired with excellent local wines and this last visit did not disappoint. I used to frequent this restaurant 20 years ago and they have kept their moxy. Specialize more towards latest health trends but most everything is sourced from the northwest. Lot's of flavor and unique combinations. I had the meatloaf and it was loaded with veggies and mushrooms and savory, not sweet. Included squash and garlic mashed potatoes flavored just right. Wine selections are well chosen and modest in price. The setting inside the Heathman Lodge adds to the rustic decor. If you're looking for a good meal beyond the normal fare, I definitely recommend this dining experience.

Our waitress made our experience superb! Bar beverages were great! She helped us on deciding on pre dinner beverages. She did not rush us to order. The food was average. Veggies in the steak tips appetizer was amazing. The steak tips themselves had no flavor. The ribeye had no flavor. Probably would not return.

We were pleased with our meals, salmon and rib eye. Our service was friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We were hoping for a wider selection on the wine list as well as on the menu. Online, we saw their beet salad, but it wasn't on the actual menu when we arrived.

The server mistakenly charged my credit card with another party's bill, which was significantly higher than mine. When I questioned the amount, they ran the correct charge but failed to credit the original mistake. After further discussion with another server, I was assured the issue was fixed and that the refund would appear in a few days. I was asked to “trust” that it had been resolved. Unfortunately, this all played out in a crowded social setting, drawing unnecessary attention, and the server responsible never offered an apology for the inconvenience. Time will tell if their assurance proves accurate.

Great burger and beer. The staff was friendly and attentive to allergy concerns. Gluten-free bun available. They have indoor space and outdoor seating as well. Quiet outdoors.

Great location, great food and beverages. I had the lamb chops medium rare, and they were delicious with a couscous base. I started out with a great Makers Mark Manhattan on the rocks which made the evening perfect. My daughters 8oz filet mignon was perfect served medium rare with mashed potatoes and grilled shallots. You basically can't go wrong at this restaurant inside the Heathman Lodge. Book it if you can when you are in this central Vancouver neighborhood by the Vancouver Shopping Mall.

Great food! Our server Kale was super nice & attentive. Rolled with our jokes! All in all good experience.

It had been a while since we have been to Hudson and as soon as we arrived we remembered why. The hostess couldn't find our reservation. The waitress was very slow. While nice and friendly we had to ask for each refill, extra napkins, etc. she was not proactive and didn't stop by often, it was more like flagging her down for our needs. Lastly, their prices were higher than their competitors. Coffee or a soft drink was $5 each! The dinners were average size if not on the smaller size. The taste was good. We like the atmosphere.

My wife and daughter and I made reservations at Hudsons for dinner on August 5th, 2025 at 8pm. We arrived on time and had requested a booth ahead of time and multiple were available but the greeter went to sit us at table. I asked nicely if we could please sit in one of the booths and, by her reaction, she was obviously annoyed with my request. The restaurant was at about 50% occupancy on a Tuesday night. She reluctantly sat us in a booth but no one would come wait on us. We have eaten there on several occasions and had never experienced anything like this. Despite trying to get multiple servers attention, no one came to take our order for drinks or dinner. It was crazy. Like, by asking for a booth, we were ignored. We left on our own after 20 minutes… I knew the first executive chef who worked there and he never would’ve tolerated customers being treated this way. Very disappointing experience for our family night out.
