I dine at Ichi locations all over Vancouver and this place is a major rip-off. SIGNIFICANTLY higher prices for FAR LESS food. I guess that's what you get for dining "downtown". SHAME!

It just wasn't very good I had the white meat teriyaki with rice and salad and I just didn't like the flavor didn't taste like authentic teriyaki to me.

Hands down some of the best chicken teriyaki out there, used to go there every day for lunch untill I sadly moved away. They are super friendly, get your order quick along with getting you food fast, hot and delicious. If you go to another spot for lunch and need a new place to try definitely stop by here.
I am super disappointed, I ordered from this ichi because it was the closest one listed on doordash, I ordered the tofu yakisoba and a side salad. I love ichi's salad dressing, it is really good and the one by my house I could of order from another delivery service but they don't offer the salad to order for online/delivery orders. This Ichi had watered down and completely different tasting teriyaki sauce that was way thin and the dressing was like they added something to it. I kind of got excited because they actually had some good greens for the salad instead of iceberg but when I saw the dressing I could tell it was a different color but decided to try it anyway. NOT my cup of tea and was a total disappointed from what I was expecting to receive. I have actually never had any bad experiences with previous Ichi's and typically wouldn't leave bad reviews but I don't get why one place of a chain would have such differences from all the rest of the other ones.

The food was fantastic! I'll definitely be coming back with my husband. Alazay( not sure how to spell it) was amazing. She was soo nice.
When asked if everything was good/if we needed anything we told the wait staff/cashier/counter person that the spicy chicken was not spicy (glad we only ended up ordering on one plate) did not offer another option did not offer refund, said that’s the spicy sauce. The dish ordered was spicy chicken with egg roll, only came with one small very greasy (old oil taste) egg roll and chicken was not spicy at all although paying $1+ for the spicy sauce. The side plate of gyoza and my coconut shrimp was also very greasy and small, with old oil taste. Woman was rude and also pointed out all sales final no refunds sign placed strategically where no one would see before ordering. Just super disappointed and won’t come back or recommend this location to others. Prices seemed higher and portions much smaller just because of downtown location vs others we’ve gone to. Looks and tastes worse than freezer options from grocery store. For meals that cost $15+ I just feel ripped off and customer service left so much to be desired, I’d give 0 ⭐️ if that was an option.
