What is this?! I have been living so close to this amazing restaurant and I am just NOW discovering?! Don’t suffer from FOMO - get here now.I enjoyed the lentil soup, falafel platter and pistachio baklava. My partner had the gyro, baklava and gave it all a 5/5.

The food was great but, The server only checked on his once and was in the backroom most of the time. These days, with food costing so much more money, it's nice to go for a meal where you have both food and ambiance, not just the food. I can get that at home.

This is my favorite restaurant. I moved to Vancouver about a year ago, and any time people come visit I take them here. If I want to treat myself or my girlfriend we come here. I've never had a bad experience and the food is amazing. I get the chicken shawarma plate with the house salad. It was particularly good when I went tonight. I don't like eating lettuce, so I typically avoid salad, but the house salad doesn't have any and is delicious. I hope everyone enjoys this place as much as I do.

Had some great chicken shawarma at the Jerusalem Cafe. We will definitely be coming for more.
This was literally my favorite restaurant for over 20 years, I just got take out and they stuffed my sandwich with literally a lb of hummus that was disgusting and sour and not their previous recipe and less than a chicken tender size amount of chicken Shawarma in one small corner when I pulled it apart… the gyro we got same thing one thin slice of meat in it. The tabouli which was my favorite thing because they had the best recipe is now made completely different with zero seasoning or lemon to it, completely different flavor to it, it was worse than the ones in the gas stations sitting for 4 days…after spending nearly $50 or more dollars we had to throw all of it away. These new operators are not holding the same recipes and portion sizes as before trying to cut corners on food cost or something. It makes me so sad because this was my favorite food and restaurant in Vancouver, that always accommodated making the sandwiches with taking out or adding an extra of something and now I will never come here agian. EXTREMELY HEARTBREAKING that this place has not carried on the traditions and recipes of the original owners.. And don’t care about the food air customers anymore. I can see why there was literally nobody inside the restaurant having lunch when it used to be packed always… Gross, expensive and disappointing. VERY SAD moment for the community of Vancouver who have a lot of good memories at the jeruselum cafe restaurants. ?
What a disappointment tonight. Service was slow and very inattentive. The appetizer was cold in the middle, and we had to wait to be able to let someone know. Instead of soft drink, we got soda water. When i did get to relay this, we were met w an argument about the soda manufacturer co. What?? Then she said their machine is malfunctioning. Half an hour later, I was asked again about soda choice. Middle of the meal, we finally got soda. Had to ask for the check, which listed an item I ordered but never received. And the saniha, which is ground meat, was as tough as a steak. We used to love this place. But we won't be back for a long time.

Great customer service, authentic restaurant, and a great atmosphere. We chose to sit behind the curtains for the more traditional experience. We ordered samosas, lamb, gyro and I had the chicken soup . Everything was so good, even the soup. And we ended with knafeh. I have always ordered for them via door dash but it was our first time dining in. Definitely a gem in Vancouver. Would come back! Get the lamb - it's so tender

Food is always excellent.Service is all over the place. New guyIs great though. Most people order to go.Baklava this week was not good. Dry and no butter. Hoping they didn’t get rid of the bakery who makes it.Still one of my favorite places to eat though.
