My husband had J's Giant Burger it was cooked to perfection. I had the patty melt, And their onion rings my mom wanted tartar sauce they don't make it there however the waiter said oh I know how to make it I'll make you some right now. Best tartar sauce ever!! Did I mention the service was Top Notch for a little dive breakfast/lunch diner. Will recommend it to anyone and go back repeatedly

The classic diner cafe vibe! From the coffee to the eggs and hash browns. The coffee has that flavor profile you can only get from a well seasoned drip coffee pot. And the food is always exactly as you'd expect it to be. Service is great. This is my favorite breakfast and lunch place in Downtown Vancouver, we pretty much just go to Joe's now if we are doing a lunch break in that area.

I visited friends in the area for the wknd, and we stopped in for breakfast before I had to head back to PDX. We got there on Sun morning (6/1) right before they opened. The food was delicious and the service was great. Unfortunately, I did not catch the name of our server (she was the only one present at the time), but she was fantastic. She was friendly and attentive and overall had a great attitude. Thank you!

Food was mixed. Pancake tasted meh and a bit rubbery. Buscuit was dry, gravy was good, over-medium egg was perfect. Counter was covered with to-go boxes which gave it a bad vibe. Server was great, very friendly and attentive.

If you want a really great place for a good meal. You've found it here at Joe Brown's Cafe. Old school vibe in downtown Vancouver. Walk around in a beautiful park located 2 blocks away afterwards. AAAA++++
