Joy Sushi

Nice sushi restaurant with fun options, open and spacious seating, and good sushi food. Taking a couple stars off - asked for gluten free soy sauce and got a container identical to ordinary soy sauce. This is not acceptable for anyone gluten free, where eating the wrong one literally makes you sick. The container needs to be 100% trustworthy, there can be no mixup for customer or staff. Not sure I'd trust this restaurant for GF now.

We went here because it was the only sushi place that was open till 10:00 within driving distance. This place is literally a gem! The elderly non-english speaking Japanese couple whom I assume are the owners crafted culinary works of arts and served with humble cheerfulness. Just go here. It's good.

They were very nice when I ordered the wrong thing and took it back without charging even tho I made the mistake, I appreciate that kind of service a lot!

Been ordering here for the last 3 years and it’s always a 10. The rolls are huge and they always taste so good! We usually do pick up but have also dined in and had a great experience with that too. Definitely recommend this spot if you love tasty sushi for a great deal.

We had an amazing experience at Joy Sushi. Our group loved the Waikiki roll and the Rainbow Naruto roll. The service was fantastic and fast.

I was disappointed with the quality of the Signature Joy Roll. The spicy tuna tasted off and did not seem fresh, which raises serious food safety concerns. I recommend improving ingredient quality moving forward.

After my sushi was served, a roach ran across the table and ruined my appetite, and I never went back again.

Joy Sushi has delicious sushi! We drive out from Portland to eat here, they serve the rolls on these boats such a fun detail and make it memorable.

The smooth Jazz playing was actually really nice with setting the atmosphere. It felt calming and the waitstaff was super helpful and kind. My husband dropped some sushi on his shirts and without being asked they brought more napkins.
Now for the food… oh my goodness. Highly recommend the Rainbow Naruto and the Fire Lion King. The lion king comes with a show, so don’t open it like my husband tried to.
Great place and we will happily be back.
