They make the best sushi in Vancouver! Our daughter showed us this place, and now we come here all the time to eat.

The diner was warm, which is awesome during the cold of winter. It made me feel comfortable even sitting near the door. We had several rolls (7 shared between 3 people) and every one was absolutely fabulous! The service was with a smile and very quick. Thank you so much for a great ending to 2025! Happy New Year!

Server seemed annoyed we were there. Sushi was okay but not the greatest.

the Mexicali roll was so good. Yelp review worthy, I said. I don’t usually write reviews but I felt this was delectable.

My expectations were low but it was better than I thought! We were surprised by the baked sushi! The sushi was scorched in the fire, giving us a fiery experience!

I was visiting and we looked for a sushi place and Joy’s popped up so we drove there and tried it. Food and service was excellent. My son and grandkids were very happy with the food! My son even went back!

I dined in tonight and everything tasted so good. The sushi was so fresh and the rolls did not fall apart on me which is a plus. The service was so nice. I asked for extra ginger to take home and they even went out of their way to give me wasabi. I will definitely be back. It’s good that they close at 10 because most places close at 9. This place is so close to me too!

I cannot wait to eat my leftovers tomorrow

Perfect for lunch. I wanted something fresh and healthy. I got a veggie roll, sushi roll, miso soup and hot tea. Quaint and quiet spot.

I came with my son after school to eat, we only had 20 minutes before his music school class which is next to this restaurant, we sat for 2 minutes and placed an order. The order was accepted and then the waiter said that they don't accept card payments, only cash!
My son left hungry to music school, it’s so bad
service only cash !!!😡😡

Thought I would try a new sushi place and this was amazing. The service was kind, polite and the food was incredible. Had the veggie roll with miso soup and the salmon roll which was a great cut of fish that tasted fresh. Highly recommend.

Nice sushi restaurant with fun options, open and spacious seating, and good sushi food. Taking a couple stars off - asked for gluten free soy sauce and got a container identical to ordinary soy sauce. This is not acceptable for anyone gluten free, where eating the wrong one literally makes you sick. The container needs to be 100% trustworthy, there can be no mixup for customer or staff. Not sure I'd trust this restaurant for GF now.
