I'm assuming the five star reviews were paid for or... perhaps those people haven't had anything other than store bought coffee? Owner was my barista and she was not very friendly whatsoever. Walking into the store, the beans they roast fill the street with an awful aroma that smokes out the cars parked out front as well as the apartments above it. My car smelled awful after returning with my coffee. The coffee was very bland and the atmosphere inside was not very warm or inviting. Id rather go to a Starbucks, and i dont even like them. Also... homeless people ask you for money and coffee while youre waiting in line... Truly not worth a second visit. I will never be back.

The hazelnut chocolate Guatemala blend was perfectly matched to my Mexican mocha with vanilla. This was the best coffee I have had in years.

Truly one of the best cups of coffee ever. Super-friendly team and great space. Beans are roasted on site and the results are extraordinary!

I love this coffee shop. The fact that they use different coffee beans with different brewing methods to more fully express the profile of that coffee is awesome! Try it…you’ll like it.

Really cool coffee place in downtown Vancouver. Their drinks taste quite good. My only gripe is that they offer only the small size, I don’t know why but I am not getting two drinks if I need a large coffee

Best coffee in town. They're real connoisseurs, and roast their own beans on site (Esther Short location).

I work and live only a few blocks from here, but it is JUST off my beaten path that I have only been a few times. But every time I go it’s amazing! All the drinks are very fresh and flavorful and I appreciate all the different roasts and varieties of coffee available.

While staying at the Hilton Vancouver Washington, I discovered Kafiex Roasters - Coffee Lab, which is conveniently right next to the hotel. It’s a perfect spot for grabbing a coffee in the morning or relaxing with a drink later in the day. The atmosphere is cozy, and they have a great variety of unique brews. The staff was really friendly, and it was nice to have such a good coffee shop just steps away from where I was staying. I’d definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

The best coffee in downtown Vancouver! For coffee enthusiasts, this is the place to go. Excellent attention to detail and quality. My Cortado was delicious - served with the traditional sparkling water on the side.
Worst “freshly baked daily” croissant I’ve ever had, and all croissants are Butter Croissants. That’s how you make them. Also six dollars for one stale croissant is insane, we get it you’re on the water front. But don’t lie to me about what’s fresh.
