Food in Undefeated here. Come here all the time great service and staff. They remember my order and everything very personal

I've been here a couple of times now, and I gotta say, it's one of the best Hawaiian food I've had around town. It feels like mom & pop store the moment you step in, with home-vibes. There's a self-service water station too, which only adds to the corner shop vibes. I've gotten multiple things at this point- loco moco, Japolo chicken, garlic chicken, kalbi, kalua pork with cabbage. The best? It's a definite tie between Japolo chicken and garlic chicken. That being said, they really know how to fry their chicken so that it's crispy, and also know how to douse them in sauce for that perfect sauce-chicken-breading ratio. This place is my to-go Hawaiian place now

I do not like the way they always give you the main dish mixed with rice. We should be able to buy each separately.

2 stars for the service and atmosphere, but no more because the food was too salty to finish. We ordered 3 different dishes and all 3 were over seasoned.

I don't how to say this... but the food was pricey and it was NOT good. We spent $40 for 2 of us for very mediocre food. I got the Ahi poke with the spicy aioli ( at the recommendation of the employee). They sell it at "market price", but it is pricey! $20 for extremely salty food. It was drowning with so much siracha and other sauces, I couldn't even taste the fish. We also got "da mix" which you can choose two of their signature entrees. We got the Kalbi and garlic chicken. It comes with a very bland Mac salad and dry like the Sahara rice. The meats itself were not bad, but overall wasn't great. Located in a small strip mall.

If you're looking for the best Hawaiian spot in Vancouver look no further. This place speaks authenticity and delivers in flavor! Traditional dishes for reasonable prices. I dream of their Admiral Lee Chicken!

The cashier is pretty rude. Came there twice and we get the same attitude. If they turn down the music they can probably hear what we saying. Also they never have enough food too. I'm good there's a lot of Teriyaki places to eat in Vancouver!

If you love Hawaiian food as much as we do you gotta check this spot out! Kiawe Island Bistro is a family owned and operated restaurant brining island fusion to the Vancouver community. Featured is the Japolo chicken and the teriyaki chicken. The Japolo chicken was definitely the winner here I would eat this all day if I could. The chicken has a nice crunchy crust and a juicy tender center. The mac salad was also terrific. Overall such a great experience and definitely recommend it to anyone!

Burrraaahhh! Talk about broke da mouth! Gave KIB another try today and WOW! Total turn around from my last review. Hubby got the Katsu Moco it was so yummy loved the gravy! I got a mixed plate with Kalbi and garlic chicken the Kalbi was just as good as the last time garlic chicken was perfectly crunchy sweet and salty. Got pancit for my son and he loved it, itwas simple noodles and veggies. They had dessert this time so we got the ube haupia cake slice and guava cake slice and WOW! Super moist and flavorful. In kanak attack mode atm.

Lived in Hawaii for many decades so I was excited to try this place. I ordered the Shoyu Chicken and was pleasantly surprised by the flavors and portion size. Very delicious

I decided to try this place on a Saturday and was surprised when we were the only other people there. I'm fairly new to town so I'm trying to find the right spots for all my favorites. Well it's safe to say I will be back here. We ordered the classics, garlic chicken, loco moco and 1 spam musubi. The portions are huge! We easily had leftovers for days. The garlic chicken was the best, and the spam musubi was delicious because their rice is so perfect. It's counter service, but we were checked on throughout our meal which was very nice.
