People who have had authentic teriyaki, set your expectations low. This is nothing like anything you get from Seattle or Japan, though it's more like Hawaiian marinade chicken. Glad there was no veggies in the chicken teriyaki, just meat and rice (with a side order of green salad). The rice wasn't very good or high quality. The presentation wasn't great, but I'll let that slide as it was delivery. The marinade they include on the side was too runny to be a good additional sauce. Wasn't amazing flavor either. The side salad was fresh and tasted good, but the dressing was more like dill ranch than anything mayo or vinegar based like you typically get. This was their number 1 rated dish on Door Dash and I definitely have a hard time wanting to order anything else if this is their #1 order. I'll give them another try though. Not what I was expecting.

I went here on my lunch cause I didn't want the surrounding areas. Despite the bad ratings I'm not unsatisfied. I think their teriyaki sauce has some fish sauce in it though.

New owners or something cause the meat was completely different. Their teriyaki sauce is not the same. The sauce of the salad was some weird sour cream tasting stuff. Overall was not happy with the food ,honestly was contemplating after the 1st bite asking for a refund but I just took it as lesson learned and will not be going back there.

Love this place, it's my favorite teriyaki restaurant in Vancouver and I am a regular. Staff is wonderful and very kind and the food is absolutely amazing. I love spicy and they have 5 levels of intensity.

All the negative reviews of this place are unwarranted. It’s a no frills Korean restaurant with simple decor. The owner is one of the nicest people you’ll meet. Just someone serving good food at a fair price with generous portions. For those who expect a fine dining experience from a strip-mall restaurant, I would encourage you to reframe your skewed perspective.
A lot of signs in this restaurant. Service was the best thing about this. Food was pretty good. Price is a little too high in my opinion but i dont know anything.

I went here for lunch I ordered: chicken yakisoba noodles & spicy chicken noodles. I spent 42.00 & it was a total waste. The chicken yakisoba noodles had a weird sweet taste & were disgusting, the other dish had too much sauce & veggies tasted old. Both dishes had too much oil. Not much was eaten & got thrown straight to the trash . I will never spend a cent here anymore I could have gotten better food elsewhere. Very disappointed and quality of food is awful. I do not recommend anybody going here.

What a gem! I was in the Couv and I was hungry for dinner so I popped in here on a whim for some takeout. I ordered the chicken and pork plate - initially I thought the tag was kind of steep, but about 5 minutes later they popped out with this mountain of meat. The chicken and pork were both delicious! I ate the salad the rice and some of the meat and I have a big heap of meat leftover . . . So I guess I'll cook up some rice and veggies at home and have this for dinner for the next couple nights. Worth it.

I was hoping this would be good because it’s close, but it was really disappointing. I threw the spring rolls and Shrimp & Vegetable Tempura out. The chicken fried rice was OK. Plus, the atmosphere was lacking in just about everything; there were harsh command signs on the wall telling customers what they shouldn’t do. So much for customer service. The only redeeming factor was the young Asian man who took the order over the phone, took my payment, and brought the food out. He was very friendly and polite.

The food was ok to say the least. It’s hard to dry out dark meat and they did. Also I’ve never been charged for having a dish be spicy except here. The portions were great I wasn’t going to be hungry if I finished the meal. I’ve been working in the food business for about 20 years and there seems to be a lack of end user food experience, food is an intimate, social gatherings and this Place lacks it. I really don’t like posting negative reviews and it was a one time experience so I’ll go back and give them another crack at it…
Definitely a hidden gem. Love their beef fried rice and bolgogi dishes, but all of their food is delicious. Staff are very friendly and polite
