Order 2 country fried steak meals.
We asked for crispy hash browns. Said specifically "please make them crunchy".
Took over 40 minutes and food WAS COLD! My potatoes looked like they barely touched the flat top.
The CFS is obviously just some frozen packaged deal they warmed up because it was soggy and lack luster.
One tiny dallop of gravy.
My bread wasn't even toasted....
Only thing they got right were the eggs.
Very disappointed.

Love breakfast-lunch restaurants, and this is a new one and probably a one time visit being it is over 2400 miles from home. Service was excellent and the breakfast portions were more than substantial.

Just had omelets here. They tasted like mcdonalds. Preformed/cooked tasteless eggs with one square of cheese on top. Ordered all meat omelets had burnt onions probably from grill. Ordered Al acarte and was Charged $17 for the omelet only. I would never eat here again. It used to be good...real food not precooked garbage.

Parking: Only two bathroom stalls. Employees hanging out in them while customers waiting to use. Be sure to go at home before coming.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not really. Tables and customers packed tightly.

I enjoy Kitchen Table Cafe, however, I have a problem when I'm served a cold waffle or pancakes. I wish all restaurants would serve these foods warm.
I love moderately spicy foods, especially jalapenos, my favorite. The menu had a "spicy jalapeno" Omelette. The description sounded great: What a DISAPPOINTMENT. The jalapenos were NOT grilled as advertised. They were raw and diced so small you couldn't even taste them. NO heat. It was supposed to be stuffed also with creme cheese. There was a decent amount on top, but perhaps a teaspoon at best inside. Likewise a tiny amount in total of the nearly tasteless jalapeno micro pieces. There was supposed to be pepper jack cheese on top, but I saw what appeared to be a very small amount of "white" cheese melted with zero evidence of peppers. Zero heat there too. There was a decent amount of bacon. The problem is, I didn't order a bacon omelette but that's all I could taste. Egg & bacon.
Now, they DID accommodate my request; I asked about substituting a non carb alternative for the pancakes, toast or biscuit. They offered avocado, which I happily accepted, until I found what they brought: a very small portion, which wasn't fully ripe; barely edible, but without the flavor of a fully ripe one.
At least the service was good, hence the 2nd star. That was the highlight, because what I got amounted to what tasted like a bacon and egg Omelette. I'm not at all eager to come back. Can someone explain why people can't provide what's described in their menu?!

We love the Pumpkin Pancakes. They always remember that we get them without nutmeg. Wendy is our favorite server in the city!

The food was cold when it arrived. We sat at a dirty table with syrup all over it, so of course I got it all o
ver me. Asked for creamer never came. Had to ask again. Waitresses had good intentions.
