Always helpful and willing to show you whatever you want and more haha 🙃 Keeping you informed of upcoming shipments and just about whatever you would possibly want to know so 🤷♂️ I say 5 stars for them 👌✅ Also not to mention all koi I’ve gotten from them I’m very pleased with ! (28 koi and counting) As a matter of fact on the 20th I have a large group of people going up with me to check the whole thing out and me inquiring about the newest shipment 😎🥵 … like I said above they keep you informed about anything your wanting or future fish coming in.
Edit : The group visit was amazing we all had an absolutely amazing time and the koi who came in 😮💨✅ Their hospitality 10/10
They spent way longer than they had to helping me choose two koi. They patiently sorted them out of the holding tanks and talked to me about their coloring and patterns even taking me to another nearby holding area where the big boys live so I could see how the different types of koi would look when they grew up. It was such a great experience, heads and tails over any of the koi “box” stores I’ve been to before. It was a long drive for me from Beaverton, OR, but 100% worth it. Very highly recommend!
TLDR: lots of deadlines and rules, no reminders, large fees. Obsolete information listed for address and hours. Customer service is lacking.
I was in Portland for the weekend and decided to buy a koi at their auction and pick it up on the drive back. According to their info as of 8/21/25 (two months later) they were open on Sundays, see photo. I called many times - no answer. Sent messages - nothing. Stopped by anyways - the place looks abandoned. Finally someone responds on Monday, after a pickup was no longer possible, and tells me they are closed Sundays and that I went to the wrong address. They convince me they can ship to Seattle at low cost so I end up buying a few more koi at their auction and paid for the first one. A family emergency caused me to forget about them for a while. This was easy since they send no reminders of any kind. When I remembered again it looked like the additional koi I had won were auto-forfeited. I called and spoke with someone and was told to send an email as they might still be able to send them my way, so I did. The response: no, the fish are gone, and BTW they are charging me $50/wk for the one unshipped koi. Seems like a ripoff to me. If you are going to demand such large late fees you need to at least send out reminders. Glad I didn’t spend too much money here but unfortunately time lots of time was wasted.
Great place , great service, and would recommend to anyone looking for koi fish
Worth the drive!
Great people Great selection of koi I will come back again.
This place is amazing! Some of the biggest koi I have ever seen! Plenty of options for my small price range. Ezra was extremely knowledgeable, kind and patient. There will be no reason to look anywhere else. Shopping by mail or in person…you won’t be disappointed in the quality of these koi!
Went to the Mountain Timber Market opening in Kalama and sampled Koi Pond tastings, which tasted wonderful. Bought two expensive bottles which tasted nothing like the sampling, to the point that we poured them out. This is the same experience with four people and several bottles of wine. Not sure what they are doing there.
Huh?? Nobody answered the phone on a Saturday and website says 'by appointment only'...who does that nowadays and yet alone survives!!

Very knowledgeable and excellent customer service
KPC is spectacular! I have known the Parker Family since 2008. They are hardworking, love each other, and that absolutely shows up in their craft of food and wine and how they treat you! Michelle is the ultimate mama and chef that anyone would want to have in their home or kitchen!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’ve read some of the reviews and really felt compelled to leave my own. I guess everyone has their own unique experience here and I’m not trying to dismiss them. All I can relay is my own. And mine has been nothing but a wonderfully, amazing experience! And where else on earth can you see/buy both these amazing fish and also, taste/buy some superb wine?! Wes is so knowledgeable and friendly about everything koi related. He never talks down to you. I’m definitely a novice when it comes to these fish. But, he gave me a full step by step tutorial on a kois’ life and what to look for in a quality koi. And then here’s the kicker- Michelle was delightful and so knowledgeable as well! She answered all my questions and was very attentive. also, did I mention when they have wine events and she caters, she’s an amazing chef/cook?! I’ve actually met the whole family and they are all great as well! As far as these negative reviews go- I think you’ll receive the same energy you put out there in the world.
They are amazing and Michelle is the best! I highly recommend them!!
Our family of 5 absolutely love coming to their Koi fish pond over the past 5+ years - and our kids too run to invite all of their friends over to see such a cool place! So much education is given here- from the shipping- to how they are fed- where they come from- etc. Wes and his entire crew work so incredibly hard to keep such a knowledgeable atmosphere for those new to the koi world. I absolutely love that they are a small family business and operate so well together. His wife Michelle is such a ball of laughter and fun and his sons are so business driven- it’s amazing to see them work together. Good business- GREAT PEOPLE! ❤️
