I ordered a cake to pick-up while visiting. It took a few tries calling to be able to place the order, but once I got ahold of someone, the ordering and payment process was easy. The cake looked better than my expectations (their website does not do the cakes justice). They had a case full of beautiful cakes and desserts. The staff were polite and efficient.

Awful experience! We ordered a $40 cake and it was old. Hard icing peeling off the cake. I talked to manager who could care less. I told her we had cake from there for birthdays many times in the past and the icing was never hard. We always store it in the refrigerator but she said that was the problem. I asked if it has dairy in the icing, she said yes, so it should be refrigerated and can be with no issue. I googled whether to refrigerate German chocolate cake and it says YES. Costco and Safeway also refrigerate these cakes. Aside from a $40 cake that we didn’t eat because the cake itself was also dry and crumbly, the manager could care less. I asked for a smaller version of the cake so my husband could have some birthday cake and she said no. Then I said I will take our longtime business away and she said OK. They don’t care about customers! Our neighbors also used to enjoy it there but took their business away too. Lack of customer service. I’ve tried to ignore their issues in the past but no more. They lost business.

LOVE their UNIQUE Florentines_notice the shapes & chocolate brush strokes! Their filo dough, whipped cream custard Neopolitans are DIVINE and should be ordered in advance! 2 of our favorites! Every fresh baked item is correctly packed for pickup! On-site cafe serves sandwiches, salads pastries made in house for table service or take out! Coffee, teas and juices are available as well!

I bought a banana cake for my son’s girlfriend birthday. She was told that this place has good banana cake. I asked and the store person said it was made that morning. She lied because it was dry and not that good! I can get better cake from New Season!

My wife ordered a small 7 inch single layer cake and a dozen cupcakes for her brothers birthday. The cost was just under fifty dollars. When I went to pick it up they didn’t seem to know what was going on and game me the cake without the cupcakes. After my wife told me I was supposed to get cupcakes I went back and they were confused but I eventually got them. Ok so far no problem. But then I opened the cake and for the cost I would have expected better quality on the writing. The lettering is piped right into the edge of the cake. Very amateur for a bakery that claims to be so high end.

I sent my mother to pick up a cake for me, as I am not able to make it in time after work, and she endured terrible service and rude remarks. My mother is not used to paying more than the cost of a Costco sheet cake, so when she was told the cost, she was simply surprised and said it was expensive, the woman responded loudly to her that everything is expensive, after she was already annoyed by her for asking what all the flavors were. My mother is of Spanish descent, after hearing about her experience, I immediately regretted sending her there. I’m so disappointed in the treatment my mom experienced. Mind you, the price of the cake was actually 40, not 60 as she was told, and the woman who raised her voice at her did not apologize for her mistake. I wouldn’t say I wouldn’t go back, obviously, Larson’s has been good for years, but I am not sure when I’ll ever be able to pick up another cake without my mother’s help, because I will not be asking her to go back again. I am very disappointed in the treatment of a senior woman of color, I hope Larson’s has values to enforce and morals to teach this employee.
