I am actually torn to write this because I actually like this place. But my mom and I went there yesterday and the service was good but my mom had questions if there were any vegetarian options because she said she doesn’t eat meat. The server showed her the “meatless” options and she chose the veggie burrito. After the food came she actually liked the burrito but half way through she asked the server what kind of oil they use to cook the beans in and the server said Lard....read full review

Los Pepe's at the Mall offers American-style Mexican food with generous portions, according to some reviews. It is conveniently located near the Old Navy sign, with entry through the mall doors. Customers have noted that the restaurant can be busy, especially near the entrance to the theater and bowling alley, with a large parking lot available. The atmosphere is generally good but can be a bit loud and dark, which some find makes reading the menu difficult despite the friendly staff. Service has been described as slow at times, and drink refills may take a while, but the food quality is appreciated. Popular dishes include the Chille Relleno burrito or plate, and sharing meals like the Molcahete has been enjoyed. Portions are large—one entrée can serve two people—and the food is considered good value for the price. The restaurant is accessible for wheelchair users, with wide aisles and a first-floor location. Kid-friendliness is also noted, with crayons and activity paper provided for children, and staff engaging directly with young guests. Despite some criticisms about the dark atmosphere and store-bought chips, many customers plan to return for the good food and friendly service.
