Happy hour is the best. We watched the sports game. I mean some TV screens turned off but they have couple of screens Nacho was great, crews are kind, restrooms are clean.

Ok bar. It was strangely bright, enough to be uncomfortable until you've had at least a couple drinks. Well maintained but very basic. Can't comment on food. Would be a much more enjoyable place to be with interesting lowlights.

The food felt pretty basic to us. The ingredients were fresh, so I'll give them that. I was expecting to get full based on the prices. The steak bites here felt like a joke. The last bar we got steak bites from, they were nice and thick cuts, these were more like child bite sized and barely like 7 bits. The marinade was weak. Just really don't recommend the steak bites. Otherwise, the place is cute, and they play good music. Good spot to stop if you're in the area.

We have never had a bad experience at Main Event. It looks like a sports bar, which my husband loves, and the food is delicious, which we both love. Good tap list, too. Please support Downtown Vancouver! It's been kind of dead the last couple of times we've been there.
Met both Steve and Mike. They are very friendly. Great food and great service. If you’re looking for sports bar but great prices and good higher end food this is the place. They had everything from fresh bacon wrapped jalapeños to adult Mac n cheese and burgers/sandwiches. Super good!

Stopped in with the family for dinner and the food was horrible. Got steak bites that were unseasoned and cold. I ordered nachos and they were soggy and cold by the time I got them and my wife’s food was the same.
